This album has brought tears of journey in my heart right now. I have been looking for this album for years on end, these were the days, nostalgia hitting hard right now. Christos ran the streets during the 00s.
finally DJ Christos released these classic tunes, they remind me the late DJ Jozi the monk, may his soul rest in peace. kodwa washiya Tembisa ngesizungu namanje isabhorekile Tembisa, ngoba akekho owafunda kuye, ngaphandle kukaLinda naye asazi washonaphi.

Thanks god i was a teenager back then and was motivated by these sounds. There’s more to township life than those who don’t know think so. From langa to gugulethu, fuck those were the days. When we went to yellow door for the day parties before we had to make space for our older brothers and sisters before the evening hits. The club literally allowed us to have our own parties from early Saturday morning till 6 pm or so. Looking all pumped up with our scurls wanting to score the best looking chicks.
Naobi The Way You Love Me, taking me back to 90's Weekend nights Radio on Metro FM with the only Q and the Kemp One the late iconic masters of vynil mixes in Quincy Kekana and Evidence Kemp. RIP Legends 🥹🥹💔💔

In the 90s in Cape Town in Gugulethu there was a Club called, eYellow Door aka Club Yellow Door aka eDoza. DjMichael DjSlenda Dj Isaak DjNxeke DjMendo introduced us to these sounds at the Saturday Afternoon Matinee 3pm to 6pm. We did dance styles called skybed, getdown and izikere, wearing silk shirts, flowered shirts and full linen outfits & scurls hairstyles. We would walk out of that club with our shirts totally wet from a sweat worked out on the dance floor. 😂 Yeses Gugs was the place to be back then. the late 70s generation OneLove myPeople.
