I knew we had the right GM when Jed had the vision to trade the core, and that move ended up being genius. The Cubs have a solid team on the field and a loaded system, they are moving into a championship window, perfect time to add the bigtime manager.
One thing for sure this team will be prepared. CC will definitely increase the game intelligence/situational awareness of this team and I think that is what gets the most out of a player. When he makes changes or a gameplan, each player will know their roll and how that "connects" to the success of The Team.

To be fair, answer the question: Why don't you suck? What makes you special? How'd it feel stealing David's job? For the years he was in Milwaukee and with a small market club and a very cheap owner. He did an awesome job. Now with deeper pockets, bigger payroll and a much improved offense. He will succeed in Chicago
Come on, you know that was a bit disingenuous given their birthdays are literally a week apart. Its either Ohtani (29) and Bellinger (28) or Ohtani (30) and Bellinger (29).
