i bought a 2022 Venture Sporttrek Travel Trailer 30 footer for 32 K brand new.....love it...been all over the usa with no problems other then a leaky window that all it needed was a caulking gun on the outside of the frame and the tank pull levers had to be replaced due to them being kind of fragile, but i did kind of man handle them.....i am a full timer and love my TT and my new life....
Looks like a nice camper overall. I'd definitely do slide topper awnings but that's a personal preference. Their layout with the bed out the passenger side is so smart on their part... Noone is really doing that and the thing I hated about my fifth wheel was having my bed slide into the next site over and feeling like people are talking right underneath you,, or pulling their car in right below you. I'm not even mad about the shower curtain. Most rv shower doors have the W shaped track on the curb and they are complete sludge catchers over time.
I’m brand new to your channel and am enjoying you both! I totally agree on lowering the entertainment section. They could use some design changes there. As for your TV, there is an available mounting bracket that allows you to raise, lower or tilt your TV approx 6” (as opposed to the ones that let you tilt the screen to the right or left.) This might be a help to you. I’d never run across Venture before but I’ve started researching. I’ll be buying my first RV early next year. I’m a retired nurse but am not handy at all with tools. I just had no one to learn from in my life but it’d be cool to learn. I first settled on the Unity by Leisure Travel Vans, a 26’ “B+”. Then onto class A Newmar gasser, then on to larger class C’s like Nexus. Then to trailers. Now I’m on 5th wheels, specifically the Brinkley. I hear towing 5th wheels is easier than a trailer AND that hooking and unhooking a 5th wheel is easier than hooking up a toad or trailer. Do you agree? I would love that Class A comfort but it’s so large and there’s so much to break down. I’d appreciate your ideas or experiences on this very much. Thank you.
Thanks for much for watching and for the kind words! Yes, we do find 5th wheels are easier to tow, and we loved the Brinkley as well, but it came down to price for us. So we chose a smaller TT under 50k and stuck to our “less is more” perspective for this current season we’re in. Less is definitely more comfortable when it comes to cost! Lol
It's very nice. I'm glad you didn't have any problems with the quality. We found so many things wrong with our new camper. One final thing needs to be fixed, but it's going into winter storage and it took so long for the warranty approval we haven't gotten it done. Hope they will still fix it in 6 months.
Oh we know it! That’s one of the biggest turn-offs about the RV industry. They’ve got to get better at this somehow. RV’s shouldn’t be stuck in a shop for months and months. So far, we love this little Sporttrek.
Yes we have crappy outside storage in our 2021 Jayco Grayhawk TT it is a game of tetris for my husband for sure! As for the map if this is on the camper it should only be camping spots sorry Jared. Can you white wash paint the wall behind the fireplace or would that not work? you have so much more storage then we have but this is our first one ever and now I know what I need to look for in the next...thanks for sharing your videos they always help me!!

Haha yep! I guess each family can decide for themselves on how to use the stickers but me and Val will forever be at odds about what justifies a sticker getting to go up. Guess we need two. One for just the RV, one for the house for all travel.

We haven't camped much yet but we've been to a lot of places.
Our map in the RV is for camping.
The map in the house is for places we've been.

We have a 343VIK in mind for our next trailer. They look awesome and very comfortable for extended stays and even year round camping.
Camp at for us. Refrigerator magnet for where we have traveled
Thats what me and my wife do also. We get a refrigerator magnet for every campground we stay at not just the state

We put up all the states we have visited, not just camped.
My rule for a sticker is you need to stay overnight AND participate in an activity (hike, tour, etc)
Camping only on the sticker.
