Don't know what's the deal with the camera man, everytime the match starts it's focusing on players while the match is still going on missing some stuff from the start. PLEASE STOP IT at least for the future when doing these offline tournaments.

Chip damage happens in most of fighting games. The mechanic here is when they activate the Heat Mode you make more chip damage so the rival have to take the offense (and that is really fun)
You need to be in heat mode to do damage on block, and also outside heat mode only a few select moves can deal damage on block. But they also added a mechanic that allows you to heal your health back by just attacking, regardless if it hits or gets blocked to balance it out.
Only Knee and Qudans have been the necessary skills to win with Devil Jin but once they ruined the characters with the nerfs, Knee stopped picking him and Qudans quit altogether
You playing the game bring nothing to the table, them playing the game is a marketing tool. It won't make a fucking difference, it isn't like they get to play much anyway.

So, I don't know if it's because she's a new character and people are unfamiliar with her or if it's simply that she's just a bad character but so far from what I've seen things aren't looking good for Reina. Every showcase I've seen so far the Reina player gets their ass handed to them like nobody's business. On the other side of the spectrum based on what I've seen so far Victor is looking crazy strong.
I'd guess it's a mix of her being new but also having a lot of depth due to multiple stances which players don't know how to effectively utilize yet. She seems decently strong on paper but the question is how reliable she ends up being with such a long movelist.
Great matches, but Tekken 8 will be a disappointment. I my opinion, it would've been better to add the devil powers to Jin and Kazuya, once a certain amount of life has diminished; instead of another character. Secondly, why are we still seeing unwanted characters like Panda, etc in the game? Next, we'll see the wooden dummy make a return. Quality over quantity is always better.
Where's the evil? Where's the darkness? The blood? The gore? Why does it look like any anime movie? A panda? I don't know maybe I'm use to seeing a more dark sinister 30 hit combo Where you can rip the intestinal tract from your opponent...
