looks like Marine Terrace has several food choices to try. I'm really looking forward to the opening of the new tel service to the east coast extending from gardens by the bay to bayshore in June. you can explore the peranakan heritage neighbourhood at Katong located within walking distance from the Marine Parade mrt station including the eurasian heritage gallery just opposite the house of ex-president sr nathan along ceylon road.
Yes, with the up coming MET station reaching there will be so much easier... I am so grateful for your tips on Katong neighbourhood...I will do some research on the locations and find a time to explore there. Thank you so much. 🙏🏻
I wouldn't mind shopping there. Those people work hard, late hours and then have to clean / set up for another hard day of work!! How are the prices? 🤔 Thanks for the tour, we always enjoy watching 👀 😊 Have a wonderful week 😀
Yes, they work hard to earn a living...Hawker centre food price are mainly affordable for everyone...most people will eat at Food/hawker centres, as the food is good.
Love this video. Will you go back in the morning to film the new MRT and the morning shops / wet market? Don’t go Mondays though as that’s when the market / hawker centre is shut.
Thank you for watching the video, yes, now with the MRT going there, I will find a time to go back there in the morning and do a VR walk and eat breakfast there. 🙏🏻Thank you for the tip, think most wet market & Food centre are closed on Monday😅
@@ASimpleVideoSG Great! I’m looking forward to your follow up. The corner Nonya kueh stall - front row, right corner, hawker centre - has been making Nonya chang for 50 years so worth a try. The soya bean stall next door has also been there for 50 years and run by a friendly second gen couple. The chwee kueh / economy bee hoon stall in the second row is also 50 years old and run by the same hawker since it started.
