I second the suggestion for a professional voice trainer. He has a fine natural voice, but with training it can be even better (I am thinking breath control, from other songs, in particular) and being able to protect the voice over the years.

I am so very proud of you, Dominic! You keep growing and growing, and you can and will go far! I have had to sing with a sore throat, so I know the pain you were in! Be careful not to lean forward with your neck on the low notes. It constricts your vocal cords, and muffles the notes.

After NATS did Dominic get a scholarship and is he now at college studying voice?
Yes, we sent his advisor a copy of him singing Empty Chairs and they were beginning a Capella group - kind of like a sports team. He tried out and got a scholarship covering half his cost, which was good bcz he's not taking out any loans. So he wouldn't have gone to school if he didn't get the scholarship. He works super hard to pay off the rest so he's not in debt when he graduates. But, he's studying business because he thinks the odds of him making a good living singing isn't that good. He doesn't get much sleep during the school year with Capella, classes, and work.

Yes, because of that I thought of not posting it. There is no mic and just a phone camera. unfortunately there was no place to brace against to keep the shot steady. It certainly could have and should have been a better video. But he still sings well.
