People don't have a problem with teams shooting threes. What they have a problem with is that the NBA made the entire game about spacing and pace, because they thought it would lead to better TV product due to more dunks from all the space and pace teams play with. But they shot themselves in the foot by making it less defensive and less physical for the sake of attracting international players. Bring back the physicality and the rules that make it slower like hand checking. Only thing is Luka will not be the face of the NBA.
The NBA could change the 3-point line to make it reach the out of bounds sidelines at free throw line extended. Eliminates the short corner threes and changes the way teams can space the floor. If an offensive player is standing in the corner and it only counts as two if he gets the ball and shoots it from there then defenses don't have to stress themselves to get out to defend him. Who cares about a long two. More power to him. This will turn the corner 3 which is the best percentage shot in basketball today to a corner 2 making it the worst percentage shot in basketball. This will greatly change offensive and defensive strategy. Also, the NBA could change the rules for calling fouls on defensive players. Bring back hand checking? Sure. Maybe let defensive players actually play defense. I don't know how many times a game I see a defender get called for a bullshit foul when there is barely any contact. Also, when a player shoots a ball from 3 and the ball is released and on its way to the basket, and the defender's hand touches the shooters arm after the fact, and the contact doesn't influence the shot at all because the ball is already gone. Why the fuck is that a foul? A foul is supposed to be called because of contact by the defender that actually influences the shooter's ability to get the shot off. If arm or hand contact comes after the ball is gone then that shouldn't be called a foul. It's incidental contact at that point. How about actually calling people for fucking flopping. I get sick of seeing big guys bump into guys that are much smaller than them and the big guy tumbles and puts on an acting job worthy of an Academy Award and the flopper gets rewarded especially if the flopper is a bigger name player than the defender. But of course when the Celtics take the league over and are better than the Lakers you got to change the rules. If LeBron James was good at shooting threes I bet you wouldn't be saying this, freaking joke.😅😅😅😅
He is? He has turned into a good shooter over the past handful of years. It has nothing to do with simple stuff like that.
@TheBasketballBulletin well if he's a good shooter tell him to shoot more or else to keep losing they'll be in the play in like they have been the last 2 years
They should limit the number of 3’s a team can take
People are so stupid about this issue. The best offensive rating team in the NBA is the Knicks, which do not shoot many threes. Denver who is 5th in the west, doesn't shoot many threes. Its not a three point shooting problem
Bring back Bill Lambier
