    Needs an updated list

    I'd have
    1. World tour international incident: All four factions are the right balance of simplicity and adaptability. Mounties are the best beginner faction that I still have fun playing.
    2. World tour culture shock: All 5 of the factions in here are like no others and have a refined set of cards that make for really interesting pairings. Grimms, Anansi and Russian fairy tales are all amongsts my favorite. Only drawback is none are straight-forward.
    3. Cease and decist: I love astroknights as my second favorite and star roamers are the best combination of defense and consistency we have. I do well with changer bots and also relatively well with ignobles when I ignore a third of their carss
    4. What were we thinking: Explorers are my favorite faction, I get a kick from grannies because I find them hilarious. I enjoy teddy bears and am neutral on rockstars
    5. It's your fault: I like all the factions in this set, would have dragons as my favorite
6.Big in Japan: Mega troopers have the worst titan, but are still fun to play with their synergistic actions. I really like magical girls and am generally positive on the other 2
    7. Monster Smash: Not a super balanced set relative to the rest of the game, but mad scientists' potential synergy put them among my favourites. I like no-titan werewolves and ants, and never touch vampires unless I'm teaching the game
    8. Munchkin: I enjoy using the monsters to increase the breakpoint and Elves to pull off comebacks, but I hate treasures in how much of a deal they are yet they make little impact. Thieves and gnomes really drag it down.
    9. That 70s expansion: I really want to like disco more, but they need a correct support partner to not disappoint. I am neutral on the other 3.
    10. Preety preety: I'd put princesses in my top 5, I really dislike mythic horse's playstyle for having reward with little risk, I'm fine with the other two.
    11. Awesome level 9000: I like the ghosts, but I can't get over the steampunk's theme and don't play them ever. Bear cavalry is mid and plants are confusing and have outdated design.
    12. Core set: It's very varied, but when I bring this out in my friend's group we tend to never pick any of the factions because they don't have as good of an effect variety
    13. Sci-fi double feature: I do not like playing spies nor time travellers. Cyborg apes can also be polarizing depending on how much action removal the opponent has and I like shapeshifters, but wouldn't put them in my top 10
    14. Oops you did it again: I'm not as impressed by the Egyptians, I like Cowboys but their matchups can be too polarizing, samurai are the most forgettable faction for me and Vikings are too random
    15. Cthulhu, I share your thoughts on the 3 madness factions and don't play innsmounth very often

I think your wrong about Culture shock. Especially Grimm. Yes they need “specific” partners but let’s run down the list… Avengers, Dinosaurs, Robots, Zombies, Ninjas, Thieves, Masters of Evil, Shapeshifters, Aliens, Killer Plants, Innsmouth, All Stars, Mythic Horses, Rock Stars, Magical Girls and Russian Fairy Tales. All of the above factions have a card(s) that trigger off of Grimms blessing or Teamwork. Which is insane. Even Hansel and Gretel can be gifted with Ignobles and still be at same base -4. And it’s hard to think of any faction that wouldn’t want to just tutor for ANY card and have it top decked… I think there was a Anime card game back in the day that relied on that whole concept of “heart of the cards” being what you draw next lol. Grannies love that as well. Other combos will get figured out as in person play resumes but they instantly boost 5 core set and 3 of your top 10 factions across almost all styles. This video isn’t new I know and maybe you’ve changed the order some… Just here for the discussions. Your content is amazing fr. Keep up the good work!

Top factions I’d like to see are medieval. Knights, orcs, demons, gods, elves, giants, etc.

Dang! Just bought 11 & 12. This video came out a week too late. Should have got AL-9k & Munchkin or International Incident. Oh well! Probably going to get 2 expansions a month until I have them all!

    That's quite an interesting ranking.
I might flip things up a bit compared to this.
    01. World Tour II: I love this expansion, it might be the best so far. All factions are well designed, there is no total failure. Incas might not be very innovative but they work and still seem to have a niche between Steampunks and Truckers. Maui from the PY could be stronger, but overall this is a very strong expansion.
    02. Awesome Level 9000: except for the poorly aged and unthematic Killer Plants these are well designed factions, included Talents. A must buy expansion.
    03. Core Set: despite many flaws, considered the massive power gap, I still love the core game and most of the factions. The core set had some of the most interesting factions and ideas and still sets the golden standard in some way.
    04. World Tour I: Would be higher on the list if it wouldn't have some design flaws. Less than the core game but the core game was the first game, while World Tour I had plenty of time to learn from earlier mistakes (and has only half as many factions). Mounties are fantastic, Luchadors are very good, only Capa Roja is too strong. Musketeers are unique but way too fiddly for me to be appealing in any way. They might even be one of my least favourite factions at all. And I really don't like the Sumo Wrestlers as they are just better Bear Cavalry without destruction.
    05. Oops, you did it again: Despite my distaste for Vikings (I explained several times my problems with that faction) I really like this expansion as I think that the other remaining factions are well designed. I don't like the Egyptians but unlike Musketeers I also don't hate them.
    06. What were we thinking: Except for the underwhelming Grannies (who are a hilarious theme anyway) all of the factions are interesting to play and well designed. Still, I have a thematic distaste for the Rockstars and the Explorers are a bit boring.
    07. That '70's expansion: Vigilantes and Kung-Fu-Fighters are great, Disco Dancers are Musketeers light which makes them "meh" and Truckers are my least favourite play on base action factions. The thing is that the hole set isn't very innovative. Well designed but not really anything new, except for the overly complicated DD and the Counter transfer from KFF.
    08. Cease and Desist: The theme of the set is great, the execution a bit lacking. Star Roamers are an interesting design but never was a treckie and they have too complicated wording. Ignobles is a great and unique design. Astroknights has many pro's and con's. Changerbots are in the middle of nowhere as well.
    09. Sci-Fi Double Feature: 2 crap factions, 1 great faction and 1 strong faction which I don't really like. The Shapeshifters alone and the hilarious Bond references from the Spies carry them into the top 10.
    10. The obligatory Cthulhu set: I really like Lovecraft and I liked Innsmouth before they became so cheap with Dagon. Still like MoC. The Elder Things are a misdesign however and I also don't really like Miskatonic. That's just enough for place 10.
    11. It's your fault: I don't like most factions in this set. Dragons - while great - outclass my beloved Tricksters which speaks against them. Tornados are fine but not my style of play. Sharks are better Vampires which is a point against them as well as they have a lot what the cooler Vampires should have gotten in the first place. Greeks are too strong for my taste. Superheroes are a wasted opportunity. At least you got 5 instead of 4 and none of the factions itself is a real failure.
    12. Pretty Pretty: The factions are decent but boring. Horses are too strong.
    13. Big in Japan: Can't connect to the Girls and Troopers, Kaiju were a wasted potential. Itty Critters are a great concept but a bit too fiddly to play for my taste as they need a lot of timing and require to think ahead.
    14. Monster Smash: Similar to Cease and Desist the core idea of the set is great. But overall it's disappointing. Vampires are one of the biggest failures at all, even from a thematic standpoint. Mad Scientists seem unoriginal, despite their age. I needed a long time to even get the Ants' theme. And I still don't know what to think about the Werewolves, I even don't like their Titan. The +1 power counters were a great addition however.
    15. Munchkin: I love the Orcs. I don't like most other factions. Clerics had great potential but were executed poorly. Mages as well. Halflings are ok. Warriors and Thieves are a misdesign. Dwarves could have been better as well. Elves are outclassed by Ignobles. So out of 8 factions I only like 1.
    16. AEG expansions: I agree on that, even when I really like All Stars and Penguins and some of the Titans are a must.

If Pretty Pretty started the silver age, then Marvel is now the golden age. The cards just feel sturdier. Marvel is beloved by so many people so teaching this game just got easier. Great way to introduce. And the whole set seems like a rework/upgrade of the core set (mostly). The dividers have complexity’s written on them as well. No Titans either or weird extra game decks or mechanics. Would love to get more of your thoughts on the expansion. Be easy Jim
