While you might not be able to travel at the moment, I hope you can enjoy this through our eyes, or maybe start planning a trip to Korea when the pandemic is over. We had never been to Andong before, but really enjoyed it. So many beautiful places to see. We also stayed in a hanok, a traditional Korean house, which he showed here: ua-cam.com/video/u_OfADC_3dk/v-deo.html
I'm really struggling stuck in the house in the UK. Thank you for taking us along with you to these very beautiful places. I found this and your hanok so interesting to learn more about korean culture and history. And strangely very relaxing too in this anxious time.
I loved this video... Indeed, not being able to physically travel, this video gives a sample of what I could see when visiting Andong! Definitely looks like a place worth going to.
Gorgeous! It looks like you had the place entirely to yourselves. That is always fun! I visited South Korea when I lived in Okinawa. Beautiful country!
New to watching you guys. and I have loved what I have seen so far. I have wanted to go to South Korea for a long time now, my husband and I were going to go on our honeymoon, but I fell pregnant. It is great seeing the life of a family in South Korea, it makes me want to take my son there as I can see it is very child friendly.
thank you so much for making and sharring this video.. Andong is my home town! i am also ( Aondong Kwon) it's been so long ago since my last visit 😪again, thank you!!!🥰
Wow we haven't been to Korea for 3 years. Now that out doesn't make sense to go I really want to go,,😭 Thank you for taking us to this beautiful place!
I haven't finished watching the video yet. Could you give us an idea of what the plaques say and the wording on the various doors? Did Yul say something like Atsi (spelling wrong, sorry :/) when you were looking for him? There is an Abenaki word for "here" that sounds very similar!
Yul said "baby" in Korean but in a way that he meant "I'm here!" Haha. One sign is about the family that lived in the village for centuries and the building and the other is about the tree and how a goddess of fertility lives there.
Yes no lockdown because we have a competent government that acted early with lots of testing and tracing, so just some social distancing and being careful has been enough to avoid a lockdown.

You should have visited Byeongsan seowon(Korean Neo-Confucian Academy)-located in near the Hahoe-maul. Mandaeru has a tremendous view!

No lockdown in Korea now right? I am in California the rules are really draconian no end in sight.

I have renew my visa in July. I hope I can figure that out. My June flight was canceled.
