  • A history video for kids looking at the life of a spitfire fighter pilot during WW2. Ideal for children aged 6+
Ever wondered what life was like as a spitfire pilot in WW2? Ever wondered what a spitfire looks like up close and inside?
Ian and I were lucky enough to work with the incredible founders of the historical interpretation company Zoom Through History at the RAF Museum in Hendon, North London to produce our next episode of Lauren Learns History. A very big thanks to both for this video! See below for links and go check them out!
In this episode, get an exclusive sneaky peek inside a real life spitfire and discover what life was like for Flight Officer William Smith in the year 1943. Learn about the role women played and find out whether or not I pass my RAF training and make it as a fighter pilot!
We were incredibly lucky to be able to film at the RAF museum itself and had such a fantastic and memorable day. I'm really excited for museums to open again in mid May and will be taking our little man! If you've not been before, this museum is up there as one of the top places to go with kids in London!
