This is such an incredible album. He left UFO again. And found himself a great vocalist. And created a masterpiece.
Without a doubt the best vocalist he’s ever had.
I've been a Schenker fan since 1980. I think this album is one of his best.

great msg release and as always overlooked by all except Michael Schenker fans. great example of how good his rythmn guitar work is. No question in my opinion the greatest rock lead guitarist ever but some over look his incredible timing rythmn work is.
He's the Master. His tone is exceptional. He's the only guitarist that can perform, playing slowly, [along with his other masterful techniques, ]and than jump into a riff that is mind-boggling, [Can you roll her.]

There is so much of Michael Schenker's stuff that is overlooked it is crazy. I mean why aren't his record labels and he himself promoting his music better? Do you know how many times I have walked into my local music store and BAM there is a new Michael Schenker album that I have not even heard about coming out. But then again take note I don't really follow instagram and only from time to time do I go to Michael's website.

Good solid, often overlooked, MSG album. The voice of Leif Sundin exemplifies the sound of classic 1970's hard rock with a soulfulness reminiscent of Paul Rogers from the band Bad Company.

@@surf66dog he lost his rights to be in the u.s. and was hastily replaced by a second rate singer. Then on the unforgivin His vocalist had prior commitments. Stuff like this always happened to Michael. Amazed his Michael schenker fest came off without Hitch

Stopped by for my daily MSG fix. Gonna shred this on my drums later today! Shane Gaalaas is a B E A S T! His technical precision, and placement of his rudimentary attack makes his mechanical sound so flavorful! I've seen MSG at least 6 times including, Michael's other band, UFO. Andy Parker, Founder of UFO, was superb on ALL of UFO's albums. 26" kick too!!!

saw him on this tour with satch and uli roth, awesome show but Michael and the boys stole the show, written in the sand so super underrated, talking of underrated i'd put leif in that box has well, super soulful delivery, really knows how to use what he's got without over doing it.

@@bartrobinson2103 I listened to most of schenker's albums from the 80s - 99's unforgiven album (currently listening to it). I might consider listening to 70s schenker during his time in scorpion and ufo also his "thank you" acoustic albums. I also recommend listening to schenker's cover of iron maiden's run for the hills, contrand (80s all star band schenker was in) and his short stint with ratt.

@@Alex_Varriale hey thanks for your reply Alex. Actually I saw UFO at the Tower Theater in Philly opened up for Bob Seger in 1977 I believe but knew nothing about them. I've always been huge Hendrix and Purple fan but I'm really appreciating Schenker's musicianship. Yes I've been listening quite a bit to the seventies UFO stuff lately they should have been way more acknowledged in the United States. I will check out your other suggestions thanks!

Decent SCHENKER album though hard to enjoy at loud volumes particularly with headphones due to the fact that Nevison has that snare drum at a blistering hard snap level , which is a shame because it’s a decent album . Johnny G

The album is yet another great schenker guitar-fest. It's a bit of a shame that the songs are mainly weak...nothing that stays nicely in your head all day.
Love never dies is the exception for me.

The people leaving these comments are clueless, this album and about 4 others in this period of Schenker's musical career are an abomination and he disappeared for a quit awhile until he put a really good band of old school hard rockers back together and rediscovered his talent that the record companies greed stole from him!
