I was going to charge it and Dave in jail because it was a holiday weekend and the public defender open my file for the first time when approaching me along with all the other defendants brought from the jail that day, and in fact, said exactly that, can you please guilty today you can be released immediately, etc. etc. They didn’t even ask me if I was guilty, or if I did it, but immediately went to a guilty plea, and that can be the case with public defenders, who are sometimes handed faces as they appear in court before then, and have never looked in the file, I don’t know a damn thing about it
