Challenging. I see your painting if you add up the darks compared to lights, you are 1/3 darks 2/3 lights. Nice.

Thanks Dave. Yes I often wonder about the ratio lights vs darks and what is optimum. You raise an interesting subject for a future demo maybe.....

@@TimWilmot My teacher was Tom Lynch and this is one of his principals that he uses.. Even when adding a second wash...2/3, leaving approx. 1/3 alone. It works a lot of the time for me.
