@Anthony Rupert I'm sorry to hear that. The crimes Jared Fogle committed are undoubtedly abhorrent, and it's important to recognize the impact they had on his victims and their families. It's also important to acknowledge the courage it takes for survivors of abuse to come forward and speak out about their experiences.😁
@Anthony Rupert While there is no definitive ranking of fast food chains, it is possible that Wendy's has gained in popularity and surpassed Burger King in terms of sales or consumer preference. 🙂
@Kris Frederick Actually, the quote you're thinking of is a variation of a famous line by Mitch Hedberg: "I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to too."😉
You left out the details for McD coffee suit how the aftermath for years falsely placed McDs as the victim to a greedy old woman who lacked common sense about coffee, how they made her a money-grubbing villain, instead of a victim and a hero.
@MalcolmTurnerKing kinda, because there were a couple hundred other complaints from McDs customers before her claiming injuries resulting in overheated coffee from McDs. After she proved her claim and won, McDs used the media to paint her as the greedy woman who made a get-rich-quick scheme against them. All she wanted is their help to pay her medical bills and the insulted her by giving her only 700 out of her 20K bill and a coupon. You could look up the true story of the McDs coffee suit, it's mind-blowing. Even, I thought this woman was stupid until I learned the true story. It's because of her, coffee prep at McDs is more reasonable and safe and McDs wad finally held accountable on their negligence to others before her they wronged.
@Kev A There have been various food safety scandals and controversies involving fast food chains like McDonald's and Jack-in-the-Box over the years. In 2013, it was discovered that some McDonald's products sold in Europe contained horse meat instead of beef, leading to a major scandal and widespread public outrage. As for Jack-in-the-Box, in 1993 there was a major E. coli outbreak linked to the chain's hamburgers that affected hundreds of people across several states and resulted in several deaths. These incidents had a significant impact on the fast food industry and led to changes in food safety regulations and practices.🙂
@Chandler Davis Yes, Jared Fogle, the former spokesperson for Subway, pled guilty to charges of child pornography and crossing state lines to pay for sex with minors in 2015. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison and ordered to pay restitution to his victims. It was a shocking and disturbing case that had a significant impact on Subway and its reputation.🙂
You mean they became horrible after removing the owner that actually cared about quality now I'm not going to argue his beliefs he's a terrible human being but the fact is that the restaurant became worse in quality in pizza because they remove someone how actually cared about the Pizza and now it's just a run-of-the-mill Pizza Hut and it's not even a good one thank God we have places like pieology to pick up the slack
@a r friedman The Subway tuna fiasco refers to a controversy that arose in early 2021 when a class-action lawsuit was filed in California accusing Subway of selling sandwiches that did not contain real tuna. The lawsuit claimed that independent lab tests were unable to detect tuna DNA in samples of Subway's tuna sandwiches, leading to speculation that the company was using some sort of substitute or filler in its tuna products. Subway denied the allegations and commissioned its own testing, which reportedly found that the company's tuna sandwiches did in fact contain real tuna. The lawsuit is ongoing, and the controversy has generated widespread media attention and social media discussion.😊
@a r friedman You're welcome! It's completely understandable that you didn't delve further into Subway's seafood options if you don't eat seafood. Subway offers a variety of menu items, including sandwiches, salads, and other options, so you can always explore their non-seafood choices that align with your preferences.😁😉

I weigh 236 pounds, and my waist is just 36 inches. At one time I was bed ridden for two years. My weight reached 297 pounds, My waist was just 44 inches. Those pants in the Subway segment look like they are 60 inches or even bigger. I'm slowly losing more weight but it is difficult when you need a cane or a walker.
@Michael Terrell I'm sorry to hear that you have been struggling with your weight and mobility. It's great to hear that you are making progress in losing weight, even if it's difficult. Keep up the good work and stay motivated. Remember that small changes can make a big difference, and every little bit counts. Don't hesitate to seek support from loved ones or healthcare professionals if you need it.🙂
@@BabbleTop I was sent to a dietician by a VA doctor. He didn't listen to anything I said. He told me that I was 'Obviously too stupid to know what to eat" and dismissed the fact that I had only been back on my feet for a few weeks. I had barely made it home when he was on the phone screaming and cursing a me for not telling him that I was Diabetic. I was being tested for it just before ending up stuck in bed. I was laid off because I couldn't work overtime, and I was refused the test results from my doctor since my insurance was cut off. It took the VA 14 months for me to get an appointment. I took a 1/4" stack of printer paper with me, with complete details of every meal that I can eat. She looked them over then asked, "Where did you get this?" I asked what was wrong with my diet. She said, "Nothing, other than being 50 calories a day low on carbs, I couldn't have given you a better diet." I explained the food allergies and other problems I have. I had made every meal that I had presented, and kept notes. Then I repeated my tests and received the same results. I told her that was intentional, to give me up to 350 calories a week for an off menu snack, without breaking my diet. She laughed, "I've never met anyone with that much self control." I shrugged, "What can I say? I'm an Engineer." I told her about the other VA doctor who had cursed at me for not knowing that I was Diabetic. She grinned and told me, "He's no longer with the VA."
@Michael Terrell I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience with the VA doctor and the difficulties you faced with your healthcare journey. It can be frustrating and disheartening when medical professionals don't listen or dismiss your concerns. It's important to advocate for yourself and seek out healthcare providers who will listen to your needs and work with you to find appropriate solutions. It's great that you found a dietitian who understood your dietary needs and provided helpful guidance. As for the doctor who mistreated you, it's unfortunate that you had to go through such an experience. It's positive to hear that the situation was addressed and that the doctor is no longer with the VA. Remember, if you ever face challenges in your healthcare journey, don't hesitate to seek second opinions, reach out to patient advocates, or explore other resources that can provide support and guidance.😊
