Warner Baxter's unforgettable performance as the Cisco Kid earned him the the 1929 Oscar for Best Actor. The movie was " In old Arizona".

I've read that that credit for "Additional Dialogue" attributed to Gilbert Roland was because my man Gilberto wanted credit for all his Spanish ad-libs... Shrewd dude! Un-QUESTIONABLY the coolest Cisco Kid ever. Too bad there were only 6 movies with him in the role!

Odd how they did the TV series in color and at a time when color TV's were practically non-existent, but they did the film in B&W. Cheers from Tennessee

The Ciscos were made on the cheap in the 1940s. The TV show began in 1950. By that time color film had become cheaper to use, and I guess the producers had the foresight to know that color was the future. Of course it would be more than a decade before the color technology would be economical for general use.

Juste une remarque j’ai remarqué que les films américains se soucient peu des différences d’âge dans les couples..là par exemple pour cisco kid,il doit y avoir au moins 20ans ..

Vault watchers... The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life throught Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 God demonstrates his own love for us in this, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 Believe and repent today!

Why do you feel the need to preach on a movie comment . This is not the platform to reform . If you need a pulpit , go to church .

This movie was entirely different from the earlier Cisco Kid movies with Gilbert Roland. They were set in California and Cisco had a lot of followers.
