Hey Mark. Just want to say I’m happy you got most of your birds back. Now you know that they are battle ready. I also think you’re going to have a good season. You really have good birds. And they’re still young. One more thing that lazy splash it don’t like to fly around the loft but it shore knows how to find it’s way home. I think you should keep it. I don’t know what sex it is. Put it with one of one of your best flyers and see what happens.
Thanks for the kind words. Yea that splash has definitely picked it up since his even lazier nest mate was lost. Im not going to get rid of him unless he gets lost and if he make it to the beginning of the season i will chip him and send him off to the races
No worries. They'll whip into shape in no time.. Loft flying every day and a couple more tosses and they'll be ready for the South African Million! ;-)
Hi Mark good to see young birds back in the saddle . When is your first race and will you be filming it. Think they will fly well. Early young bird races usually come down to the trap. ALL THE BEST.
Mark that wormer is old school good for round worms . Make birds throw up . Okay to use once in a while when not racing. I use quest good for all worms except tape worms . It also kills anything that bites them and the big plus is it kills air sac mites. Quest is easy on birds . Can and should be used during training and racing. I would not brake birds down to one crate at a time until they leave reliece site with out circling.
Looking good 👍 setbacks are a unfortunate thing with pigeons specially with YB . I’m sounding like a broken record but you need some how to mix your birds with somebody’s birds the more the better before racing starts it will help you tremendously from not loosing birds . I stop letting my birds out 2/3 at a time I seen no gain to it mixing my birds with 5 different lofts around my area it help my birds gain experience . Good luck.
I can see why your birds that come back late with missing chip. I just order some for my bird and wow they are expensive. Who ever trap them must have took it off and released them back. Shitty move for sure
Yup thats ecaxtly what happened. It bothers me more that i have to redo the whole process of registering new chip bands than the fact that someone just took them
Nice bird happy flying

👍 your birds looking good, maybe try tossing one basket at a time, they'll have less distractions and head for home more quickly
Yes sir the next toss will be one basket at a time and after that i will do 4-6 at a time
Can I please have some young pigeons to breed with this year
Bradley Wells where u from? You can Look on Craigslist in your area, there’s always racers who have too many and want to reduce their flocks

Can I have some young pigeons to breed with Please
I am not giving away any pigeons. Check locally online
I'm presuming you did get the remainder of the youngsters back from the other training toss.
How many birds did you lose on the long toss?
Either 5 or 6, i havent gone back to my paperwork to confirm yet.
Red Star Loft I hate that you lost some but we all have. Good luck with the ones you have left.
You cant found this product in siegles, moxidectin plus
I like vita king and try to stick to their products.
Those trees are gonna cost u results my man. Need to fell most of them
Those trees are a nightmare to try and race.they would have be gone before i even built a loft
Moxidectin plus from Australian pigeon Company its better
I like vita king products and theyve always worked for me in the past so i stick with them
