“Let him hear me when I sigh just how much I love him” connotes a great deal of things. Make the music play is beautiful symbolism. What an absolutely lovely song. Thank you for sharing it. I love your way of adding details behind the music. Inquiring minds do want to know!
Thank you so much, catman, for posting this gorgeous Bacharach-David composition expertly delivered by the divine Dionne Warwick! I am glad it made an appearance on Billboard's Hot 100, but I think it should have peaked higher. Your channel is a joy.
trop jolie 👍 merci beaucoup
Thanks! I never heard this before. 🙌

Damn few come even close to Dion!!
I adore Dionne but the Drifters did a cover of this that's pretty good you can hear that and Land of Make Believe another hidden Bacharach David Warwick gem on you tube both versions of these songs are amazing
A very beautiful song, Catman. I don't think I've ever heard it. It must've came out before Anyone Who Had a Heart. Most of her songs had beautiful instrumental backing, some with Burt Bacharach himself on piano. I think she would've been a better match for Burt than Angie Dickinson. Just saying.😉
You are correct, Gera. "Anyone Who Had a Heart" was recorded in November 1963.
