Great commentary as usual, Charlie. But I must say, I don't think you can expect (or want) the Fed to hold rates this high until the CPI returns back to its pre-COVID trend. You're overlooking the fact that the money supply is 35% higher today than it was at the beginning of COVID-19. How can consumer prices return to where they would be according to their pre-COVID trend growth when there is that much more money in circulation?
