- I'm riding the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route from Antelope Wells, NM to Banff, Canada in 2024 with my friend, Keith 'Old Timer' Forsythe.
I'm shooting, editing on my iPhone and uploading as the adventure unfolds, time and wifi permitting.
This is part 5 of our bike adventure, from Colter Bay, Wyoming to Butte, Montana.
Music:
Andy Grammer - Lease on Life
Hollow Coves - Moments
Tim Montana - Real Good People feat. Colbie Caillat
Beautiful videos! Inspiring to this 77 year old! I’m finding new dreams to keep me happy for the rest of my days - due partly to you and “Old timer.”
Thank you! 🙏
As to disgruntled drivers, "When they go low...go high." (-M. Obama). I'm not a cyclist, yet you two are inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! 🙏
Awesome job sir! I’m smiling the whole time I’m watching this! 🚵🏻♂️💪🤙🏼
Thank you! 🙏Glad you enjoyed it!
Great videos & also worth commenting on the excellent music selections too!
Thank you! 🙏l do put in quite a lot of effort to select the music and check to make sure I can legally use it.
Great video. Im very impressed by the stamina of you two! Ride on.
Thank you! 🙏
Great video Ken. I just raced tour divide and I can appreciate your pace and the time you get to spend talking with others.
That's awesome! I have the utmost respect for the guys who are racing, the physical and mental strength and endurance needed to maintain the pace!
Very nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍12
Thank you! 🙏
Great video and music. Thank you again. I'm sorry about the rude and dangerous treatment of those drivers. I've been riding a bicycle recreationally for 37 years and that kind of behavior has gotten any easier to deal with.
Thank you! 🙏 That's a new experience for me. Never had to deal with that, and I've biked in quite a few different countries. It's one thing to make a bad judgment call and come too close to a cyclist, but something else entirely to do it intentionally.
The editing quality while bike packing is very good! Also nice to see different parts we don't usually see (southbound).
Thanks for the encouragement! Glad you enjoyed it!
Another great video Ken! It’s so nice to see it through your eyes - riding nobo gives viewers a new perspective.
Thank you David!
@@adventurenomad777 BTW Ken - that track isn't a black bear track, but a wolf track! And the cranes are Sandhill cranes.
great adventure Kent
Thank you!
Impressive bike handling! Great videography and soundtrack. You're the first of seven GD videos I've watched going north. Interesting to see the same places from the other perspective. I disagree with your statement that nobody tells you about the hard times. Your videos show nothing difficult relative to the other six videos I've watched. I watched so much suffering due to trail conditions, hike-a-bike locations, hot and cold temps, rain and snow, mechanical failures, water problems, ... Glad you shared your adventure!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Rubber side down ,remember me ?
How are you guys?
@@adventurenomad777 Made it to Lima had to pull the plug due to knee ,I will return with a new one in 2026 and pick up the ride ,great meeting you .
