I blubbed at the Basle game. i blubbed at this game, and unfortunately I was half cut because of the amount of time it took me to get a tout ticket at Eindhoven because of the bars I visited to find one. I'll never see a night like this again with Boro in my lifetime. Great times then.
Middlesbrough and Steve McLaren's finest hour came when they were 2-0 down and seemingly out. Yet, that Boro team displayed immense fight, spirit, and determination, never giving in. Massimo Maccarone etched his name into Boro folklore with that fourth goal, which ultimately won the tie for Boro. It was a night at the Riverside Stadium that will forever be remembered.
