100% agree!! I, unfortunately, was only like 13/14 yrs old back then but I was HEAVY into this genre. And now at the age of 40, I still say nothing compares to the eurodance music from the 90s. I visited Toronto every single year for the summers from the age of 11 to 19 yrs old and I can still remember Yonge St, every store blasting eurodance, cars driving by pumping that sound out. This music really has some feel-good memories for sure!
Absolutely! I do live in Canada as well, fortunately there are many 90's Eurodance events and megamixes played these days across the country, especially in Ontario!

The best music came out in that era. Hip hop was a fusion of 70's and 80's rap, Euro dance was fusion of disco and all the music was PERFECTED. I'm so happy I grew up in this era of this blend of the best music of all time.

People were experimenting in the 70's and 80's, but in the 1990's some of the most incredible music came out. The birth of House music came out in Chicago, the punk/techno fusion was L.A. and in : :OEurope with New Wave which later in the 90's became Euro dance , Rave and Jungle music was a hybrid of New wave, Euro Pop, Rap...etc was born in the 1990's, Hard core rap music also came out in that era. It was such an incredible blessing to be born in that time. We got the funky child of all those styles, mutating into the genres, of Deep house, Techno, Jungle, Rap, Freestyle, New wave pop...etc. What a great time to be alive in the 90's, we owe it all to the founders of the past.

Funny story on how I discovered this song. My neighbor had a 92 ranger with a five speed. One day he crashed it and sold it to my dad. It had a cd with this song on it. Me and my brother sometimes were allowed to drive it and we would play on the radio. Born in 2006
You know the first version of this song was just the guy rapping and her doing just the chorus, then a couple years later this was the next version I heard. 2 Unlimited was the first Eurodance duo that got me into this music. I was... 16 yrs old in 1997 I think. And i still listen to a lot of this music. It's what's inspired me to create to the music I've been creating for the last several years.

The original version was released in 1994 under Sony/Dance pool Germany. The North American version is different and it doesn't have any rap in it. I regret selling the album (the original imported CD). Also, check out "Holiday in the Land of Love"
Euro Dance Pool I think was the compilation i bought that had just the rap version. That compilation had a LOT of amazing songs on it; BG The Prince Of Rap, The Free, Subtopia, etc..
It was yrs later when I heard this version with her singing the whole song. I ended up buying the album. Was pretty good. This music still inspires me till this day and influences the music I do now adays.

If you like this song there is another good Eurodance one called "i'll be alright" by MTS. This was by a Canadian group released in 1996 and went to #1 in Canada but only 102 in the U.S. The youtube views for the song are only about 56,000 which is very low but I put it right up there with the other big names.
