British station announcements are informative in that they list all the train stops of all incoming trains. Still, but they don't match the melodies and multiple languages of Indian station announcements! In this clip, you have covered the announcements for trains running on time, trains running late, trains waiting at the platform, and trains cancelled! Indeed, it is rare to capture all four situations. Although rare, I would love to hear announcements for trains changing platforms or taking diverted routes. I used to hear this special announcement tune at Kanpur Central as I have taken the Gorakhpur-Jhansi route several times. Barabanki and Lucknow Junction (LJN) used it as well for some time. Kanpur Central used it for almost 20 years ! It was only in 2021 that Kanpur Central took up the same tune of that at New Delhi Station. Disappointed but that is how it is.
