The fact that Gil bragged about the shit he put Sam through and only apologised once he realised who he was talking to demonstrates Sam should’ve just kicked him out. At heart Gil is a POS. Just like in the tale of the scorpion and the frog, it’s in Gil’s nature to be a horrible person. Eventually he will display his true colours.

This happened to me and one of my bullies came for a job interview, his wife had left him, he had maintenance arrears and was facing repossession of his house. I told him to get out and he was getting what he deserved.

I was bullied from 1st grade all the way to 6th grade and the only reason why ppl stopped because they saw I started to hang around with thugs! There was a kid who bullied me in elementary school. Then, I moved schools. Then, in high school, we met again, and he showed me that he'd turned over a new leaf. So, I forgave him. And now, we're friends.

I think he was wrong to give this old bully a second chance.
The way he proudly lavished in the way he tormented that poor guy showed that he was still a horrible person. He didn't show any shame or remorse for what he did to him. It was only when his victim revealed himself did he show any. But he wasn't sorry for what he did, he was sorry because he was caught. It goes to show, in real life, bullies never change. And there is an old saying: "Kindness to evil will always be met by betrayal.".

I was bullied in elementary, middle, and high school. I've learned to forgive. Took me years but God has helped me every step of the way. It actually feels better to forgive than to hold grudges.

When I was a kid I went through something like this and I realize something no one was going to help me until I stood up for myself some guy in my hallway when I was a kid taught me how to fight I went back to school and I stood up to the guy that was doing this type of activity to me it was all set and done that same bully that was bullying me was on the floor crying with a broken arm this kind of behavior doesn't stop until you put it into it

I got bullied so much in school the amount of suicidal thoughts that flowed through mind. But I'm making it in life now and I can watch them straight in their face without blinking cause they know what they did to me and they can't even look me in my eyes anymore. And it feels good.

I was bullied at school. I was beaten by my parents. My mum still puts me down today! I have tried to forgive her and helping her out but it just gets thrown back in my face. I am alone with no real friends. You can't buy friends either. I raised my son alone after a violent marriage. He has grown into a wonderful man who shows love and respect despite being bullied himself at school. The difference between me and him growing up is that when he was bullied he had me to support him through it. I, in the meantime, am still struggling with how I have been treated all my life.
I pray to the lord to show me how to get through this but I still await his reply.
What is your mother's problem, don't even bother helping her out,tell her how much of a bitch she was towards you and make her fend for herself or take things away from her she needs to learn a valuable lesson,never right for parents to miss treat ther kids regardless of what's going on and inhope things go well for you and your son.

She is 91 and if I try telling her that it's her in the wrong she goes off in a tantrum like a two year old. It's her way or no way. She even ruined Christmas Day for me and it was just the two of us plus my dog. She would rather have the dog than me. I have stopped her having the dog overnight when I go out on long days and can't take the dog with me.
I no longer take the dog round to hers.
She has been like this with me since I was 5 years old. My older sister has told me things she did to me when I was too young to remember.
She and dad stopped talking to my brother for 15 years because of his sexuality. My niece and nephew never stayed with them, my son will not talk to her or visit her and that's his own doing.
Dad died in June 2015 and he didn't really get in with mum either. He put up with her but wasn't string enough to stand up against her. She ruined holidays, days out and caused arguments every Christmas.
She won't change now. My brother lives in Spain away from her and my sister lives 4 hours drive away. My son lives over 300 miles away. I only live 4 miles away but that's because of my job.

My childhood was mostly in the 60s and 70s. I was bullied and took it until 10th grade. I fought back and was never messed with again... not counting my 2 older brothers.
Fight back no matter what. Do not go get an authority figure to fight your battle as it will make you a bigger target. Always remember, bullies are cowards.

When Samuel told Gil to close the door behind him, I could have thought that Samuel was going to call the police on Gil but he did not. Samuel decided to give Gil a second chance to not be evil again like he was in high school. Even when a bully grows up after high school, his or her victims would level up to something he or she would not believe.

Not sure why this video labels Gil as a "bully" when he and his friend literally tried to throw a kid off a building. That's not bullying, that's straight-up attempted murder. How did they not go to prison for that? It's telling that Gil went from cruelly bragging about all his high school exploits to pathetically groveling for forgiveness only AFTER Samuel turned out to be his perspective boss. If he weren't or if Gil weren't in financial distress, he would never have shown any remorse for what he did.
Also, it doesn't sit right how Gil having a family is used to humanize him. Considering what a vicious little sociopath he was in the past and what a deadbeat loser he was in the present, I'd say his ex-wife and daughter have good reason not to want anything to do with him.

I was bullied in elementary, junior high school and church. I can’t stand bullies. They’re the worst.

One thing to also mention about forgiveness is that it doesn't have to include letting people off easy all that forgiveness has to be is just letting go of The grudge that you hold against somebody because not only will it be better for that person but it's also better for yourself to let go of those chains that somebody else holds on you
