I cannot exchange units between two armies. I did so before in the normal total war way. But now I recruited units with my second army. It took my first army out of camping stance. Neither army is full now or in a stance. Yet, when I click on them to move onto each other they just bump off.
The funny thing is I was working on a top 10 tips before running into this. Maybe you an use my script to improve a better video. Aphrodite prayer is not necessary to keep active. Prayers have a cost in gold that simply should not be thrown around in the early game. The only time to ever pray to Aphrodite is when there is a happiness deficit in a province that needs happiness. Low happiness impairs growth. While it's absolutely unnecessary to try to boost growth, it's also important not to impair it in provinces that need it. Certain other locations may not need growth at all. But it's still a good idea to keep happiness in the green. Therefore, just like any prayer, use Aphrodite prayer as needed - to boost happiness in provinces that need it.
@@TotalWarKS The first turn in pretty much every campaign is to pray to zeus. Aphrodite is unnecessary prayer unless needed to boost negative economy. 10 tips - www.reddit.com/r/totalwar/comments/j54gle/sun_tzu_art_of_total_war_troy_what_the_game
Tip 10 has no context. Just says something is abundant but doesn't explain what it means. It can mean anything. It can mean the other faction wants more red and has too much green. Which is incorrect.
'and at the bottom right of the screen we can see their amount of resources, red means it is abundant, green means it is lacking.' That is what I said, implying that THEIR RESOURCES thats highlighted with red are abundant, THEIR RESOURCES thats highlighted with green are lacking or at least whats I thought it implied I thought that was sufficient
@@TotalWarKS No it is extremely vague. And can mean anything. Nothing saying the faction has surplus of red and scarcity of green. So they will sell red items for less than normal to user. But will also pay user less than normal for those.
@@shatteredknight1129 Yeah the game also explains what the colors mean because you can literally see if there's a lot or a little and hovering over it gives you a tool tip
Generell funfact: I tend to play almost every game where i find a way to, kinda role-play like. Making my own rules for actions in the ways the game offers. i also think f.E. slingers are better then archers in the end, but obviously archers are way cooler so yeah, slingers were never an option... ;D
Can you make a new guide video about wich building resource building build first when there is 4 slots and 3 slots and 2 slots? I subbed to your video!
Important question for everybody. Im pretty sure when i conquer a city with a temple allready built there before, the points of the temples' god dont actually count for me after my takeover. is that legit? like most upgraded Ares temple f.E. but in the god's menu, no points. Anyone knows? i guess its either a bug or u have to build it new, either way much gold lost for me. Thanks!
It's the same for me, so I think it is simply how it is. Early game I usually just demolish and build one again for a discount (the demolish res), but late game the gold price is fine
yeah not bad advice but i think some things should be made different or at least often more depending on the specific city etc. Anyone knows a good guide/tips video for experienced players? Like stuff that u miss even in hours idk u get me right. Thanks and all in all good video bro :)
@@TotalWarKS I get that feeling too now^^ Even i stopped it now bf even conquering troy. Well, Disco Elysium, its your turn now! Thanks mate and cheers! :D
I don't understand your point about Colonisation - and using a temporary hero instead of your army.. how do you do that? I have to use my main stack with Achilles to have the strength to conquer it and then when I win I am offered the options without any time to bring in another hero.. what am I missing?
WTH, second question! The whole "creating unique faction buffs" menu like all of it, was it put out of the game quickly after 2020 or did i miss that entire section of the frkn game??
Tip 8 7:46 wow, had no idea this group attack existed! What happens when you have more or fewer units than the enemy?
they will default to a closest target
As a new player to Troy this was really useful.
This was perfect for me as a begginer, thank you very much for this!

What do you use gold for in the early game ?

I just tried playing Troy a few days ago. This is gonna be very itself when I go back. Thanks!

That is occupation. To colonize you have to destroy first and then use the general instead of your main army.
its only for the undevelop city where nobody owns it and its empty

Very useful guide. Only 10 minutes long but highlights all the main points.
Is there an auto construct button??
Wow, very usefull, thank you so much
Can you make video con combat controls? Thanks
Why no sound?
But why am I loosing food every turn I have no idea some one please help
hmm its been awhile since I played troy, Im guessing you need to build farms?
Food is consumed by the units unkeep cost. Maybe you have too many units and too few food production settlements.
Great video man!
how do i do a turn
