Did the electronics survive the welding in place on the bike? Years ago I smoked a MSD ignition box on a race car by welding...
Electronics were fine. Definitely recommend disconnecting the battery. I didn't mention it in the video but the battery wasn't in the bike. I had it out for the winter

It is 3/4 inch pipe. 1/32 wall
