    Jack Drury has more goals in colorado than Mikko has in Carolina. Let that sink in.

    Can you imagine your life being offered 12 MILLION DOLLARS per year. Year over year. To play a sport that you love as a job. But complaining that you are only offered 12 MILLION dollars. 99% of people would jump on that. Sports is literally turning into a bunch of millionaires complain that that aren't making enough money to play a sport that they love so much. It's disgusting.

    It's way too early, but hey...in 2 games Rantanen has 0 goals and 1 assist with Carolina. In 3 games, Necas and Drury have combined for 2 goals and 4 assists. We shall see where it goes from here!

      @@pilotamurorei That's the criticism that's leveled against Necas, and he doesn't score nearly as often as Mikko.

      the Avs need a center that can produce on that second line, badly. They have great wingers, but that second line has been killing them. That would be a nice pair for the Avs to get.

    Ann Kimmel - Carolina is a better organization than Colorado. Why should Mikko take less to stay with the inferior organization?
    The other thing that these guys are missing when it comes to cap space is that Colorado is trying to move Casey Midlestadt, another one of McFarland's mistakes. That would clear up $5 million.

  • @deanschulze3129
    @deanschulze3129 День тому +1

    Chris McFarland is the worst GM in the NHL. Maybe in all of major league sports. In addition to this blunder, remember Ryan Johansen? And then there's Casey Midlestadt.

    Fire MacFarland. He’s been a disaster and his results speak for themselves. It’s not that hard, the cap is going up and will be around 100 million by the time Makar’s contract comes due. But keep enabling CMac, I’ll laugh if Tulsky flips him and gets a bigger haul!

      Cup teams win down the middle. The decision to keep Val over Kadri. Not going ALL IN for Eichel etc etc… he’s handcuffed two generational stars with injuries and drug addicts because his money puck, win in the aggregate bullshit. I cannot stand fans that just give this dude a pass. Almost every single decision he’s made since the title has been a GIGANTIC miscalculation.

      Name the moves. Manson? Now washed. Val? Between injury and other he’s played 3/4 a reg season and 1round? Mitts? Half season decent play. Keumper is top 3 in LA. Georgie was a miss. Still searching for 3C after compher. Wood for 2.5x6 and La got Foegle for 3.5 I mean seriously other than Lehky extension and Mack extension. TBD with Blackwood what’s been good?

      @@mikecampana5779 I was actually responding to august's post, didn't see yours when I replied. CMac's made plenty of decisions I didn't agree with (plenty), but that's some selective cherry-picking (and not on the far blue line kind). Kuemper blah-ed it up in DC before turning it around this year. Avs let Grubauer walk and was put on waivers today, They resigned Toews, brought in Drouin....For the record, I'd have taken Val over Kadri too, his PPG and two-way game was better, and couldn't know that he'd snort his way out of playing. I'd have bought him out in Nov., I couldn't play with the guy. But, Kadri isn't exactly lighting it up now in Calgary this year either, he's 0.09 PPG ahead of Middlestat this season. And as for Middlestat, yeah he's having a rough go, wouldn't be surprised to see him flipped at this point, but let's not forget it took Kadri 2 seasons with us before he broke out of gate. CMac is far from the disaster that you're describing. Frozen salary cap hit Avs especially hard, but we've been too top heavy since cup win and it looks like he's trying to fix that mistake now.
