What we get in news reports are regurgitated information given to us by the layman. I said intense cardio and adrenaline, but could also be for prescribed medication. I’ve heard many times about footballers needing sleeping aids which have been known to thicken the heart tissue if excessively used, but I’m sure this is common amongst other sports. We don’t hear about these tragedies in sports such as basketball, American football or hockey (at least I haven’t). If they’re not suffering from it, why are soccer players? The only obvious difference with the physicality is the duration of the games, tell me that’s not a factor?

A close family friend of ours passed away after she collapsed during one of her highschool cross country races when she was a sophmore. Her family pushed for schools to have AED's at every school in our area so that if that were to happen again to another kid the AED could be used to save their life. Well it worked because the boy that collapsed during basketball practice was saved by an AED that was only put in place because of that families efforts. I did XC and track in highschool for all 4 years. I went hard af my friend, nothing happened to me and I hope I keep it up. All I do now is Bodybuild and have been doing it for 6 years now. Just don't think about it. Don't be afraid of death but if you must for a peace of mind then get a screening.

They run up and down the field none stop for 45 minutes if your body is basically overheating which it happens when you're 6 % body fat and you keep pushing yourself 😢😢 your heart can do so much and also most of the players swallowed their tongues. It's pretty common that players have some undiscovered heart problems...but you can see that all those clips are rather old because these days we have better technology to find such problems. It is still happening though a recent example is Abdelhak Nouri he collapsed but survived with some brain damage and had to end his professional career at 20 years old!!!

Go get a screening with a doctor. These heart attacks are not random, these athletes had pre existing heart conditions that they didn't know about. Doctors can screen you to see if you and catch it before it's too late
I did XC and track in highschool for all 4 years. I went hard af my friend, nothing happened to me and I hope I keep it up. All I do now is Bodybuild and have been doing it for 6 years now. Just don't think about it. Don't be afraid of death but if you must for a peace of mind then get a screening.

They are pushed to the limit. They run up and down the field none stop for 45 minutes if your body is basically overheating which it happens when you're 6 % body fat and you keep pushing yourself 😢😢 your heart can do so much and also most of the players swallowed their tongues. That's why their own members kept putting their fingers inside their mouth cause they were chocking on their tongue

As for the cardiac arrest , he probably has too much mussel around their heart or something to do with an overflow of lactic acid cause he an athlete
I wonder if some these players had a defect they were born with that was small initially so it goes undetected but puts them at risk when doing high intensity activities later.
It's pretty common that players have some undiscovered heart problems...but you can see that all those clips are rather old because these days we have better technology to find such problems. It is still happening though a recent example is Abdelhak Nouri he collapsed but survived with some brain damage and had to end his professional career at 20 years old!!!
