thanks for the video. got a call yesterday that this is what my mom has. Biopsy happens in two days. Now I get why she's so concerned.
So sorry to hear this. Can you give a update on her condition?
My breast was painful, warm, swollen, and about 2/3’s red, sunburn like. Providers wondering about cellulitis, I’m concerned about IBC because it rapidly came on, I’m in my upper mid 60’s, and have a family history of cancer.
I had an ultrasound, 3-D mammogram, and with very dense breasts it is difficult to see things. Because of long weekend I was put on two different high doses of antibiotics and this is 4th day. Redness has improved, not as painful. I’m wondering if your mom’s symptoms disappeared some as she was waiting for treatment procedures? I sure hope she has had good results. I’d appreciate feedback from you or anyone. Thank you.
I am undergoing treatment for this cancer and I definitely had pain from the earliest presentation of symptoms.
Hi, did you had any bruises that had small dots in it? Or any armpit pain?
@@honkaigenshingirl9576 - my skin involvement didn't look like a bruise so much, it actually looked sunburnt and I had some dimpling. I found an enlarged lymph node in my armpit early on but it didn't cause me pain. (It got a bit tender but I think that was from me poking at it checking for changes while I waited for my biopsy appointment. ) I can't really say whether your symptoms are IBC, but I would be cautious and have it checked out. And I hope you can be seen quickly and that your mind is put at ease with an easily treatable diagnosis. If it is IBC, please be mindful there are new treatments all the time . @sprout59 sorry you have it, stay strong, what are your early signs of it? I have armpit and breast burning pain too, mammogram came back clear and i am worried about IBC

@@Divyas-rock - I'm sorry you are having to worry about this. As I said, pain was one of my earliest symptoms, and although I didn't have anything that would be described as a lump, there was some hardening of some of my breast tissue. I soon found an enlarged lymph node in my armpit and by the time I was seen for my biopsy, the skin on my breast was red - it looked burnt - and my nipple had inverted. If I was you (and knowing what I know now) I would take my concerns to a GP - along with some online info about IBC - some doctors have never come across a case and don't always know what to look for. There isn’t always redness and pain is a main indicator of IBS, not sure where you’re getting your data from.

I had a mammogram done and ultrasound and doc said it’s normal. Now I’m going to have an MRI because I have redness, itchy and breast got heavier than the left one. The problem is that my family doctor has no idea of IBC and so I had pushed really hard for him to get me the MRI order.
My question is: can I reg doctor read the images results or it has to be read by an oncologist? Or any doctor who expertise on IBC?

I too am worried as I have had a couple red spots on my left breast. My obgyn thinks it's just a pimple but scheduled an mri anyway to check my breast implants. How did your MRI go?
A Radiologist will read the MRI, mine revealed thickness, node and muscle involvement, I also had CT and bone scan, no evidence of spread. Best wishes to you or anyone dealing with this disease

@@evangelinelacunacantina9867 5th round of chemotherapy, node swelling went completely down. 3 rounds to go, then surgery. Diagnosed triple negative breast cancer and IBC. Breast not as thick/swollen, patchy rash healing. I hope everyone gets checked out and follows through on tests. Sending healing energy your way and love

Discoloration that wasn't there before (esspecially if you don't suntan)
Occasional STABBING pain in either or breast.
Tender nipples.
... Fatigue. Constant Confusion
On and off red, veiny rashes ,
Esspecially around the nipple area.
Bruise like splotches like red/purple/blueish rashes or spots.
I'm getting these checked after my birthday . I'd do it before but the doctors are so understaffed and overwhelmed because of this pandemic. Im so afraid. Im 27 and diagnosis with asperslgers yet these insurance companies and doctors have me back and forth back and forth phone calls like chickens with their heads cut off just to find my mammogram results.
Now I find that ultrasounds and mammograms don't always pick up inflammatory breast cancer, so I left false hope for my partner with severe ocd who constantly worries about cancer. My life is just falling apart . I was so healthy and happy before this pandemic
