- John Chagnon shows the deadliness of a functional MB550 in the frozen temperatures . Watch as John picks up a Red Fox and a Grey Fox a couple days apart at the same location.
Yep, nice foxes! I sure would like to get one. Good luck John.
no pan cover ... interesting. Everyone always recommends pan covers
Great video John...Do you dry all your peat moss out before use? Do you do any snaring down that way after the 1st? Them Greys sure are a feisty little animal...Take care...Gonzo...
Couple nice foxes John. Later and all the best in the new year.
Thanks for sharing .
Similar question about the peat moss. Is that being ran through another phase of processing? Even the driest peat moss I've ever used never fell like dust the way that stuff did. Also I run a lot of mb550's on my canine lines. What is the pan tension you prefer when targeting both fox and coyotes? Thanks again John for another great video. See ya at NTA.
I have never seen a gray fox act like that ! I have caught a many of them ! They never act your did !
What trowel are you using? Thanks.
I had 2 toes of a fox in a wood pile set. in a 3 duke. What tips could you give me not repeat my results. Struggling to learn first time trapper no one to ask.
+cil 7322 it was a red fox we don't have greys out here.
cil 7322 Use 3-4 lbs on pan tension to make sure the animal is committed to your set. You will get higher leg catches typically as long as you don't have frozen traps.
Set more traps, don't give up
Nice shoes John, I see you wait until there is no mud,,, smart!
