I've been an inactive member for many year's. Due mostly to personal poor decisions that at times make me feel hopeless or that I'm not worthy of Heavenly Father's Love ❤ & all the many many countless blessings he continues to pour out on to me, but I pray everyday for forgiveness, recognizing his unconditional love for a wretch like me. I'm always so beyond grateful for our Prophet who's word's always seem to address me personally & the struggles I am currently facing! Thank You President Nelson & all Church leaders 🙏 for your example & Christ like love! I may be inactive (for now) but I am so blesses to be a member of the true Church & the fullness of the truly perfect & eternal Gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏

Thanks Ryan for sharing your feelings. I too became inactive from the church a long time ago and felt the same way. I would like to suggest that you return next week. Don't wait until the " The time is right "or make plans. Just do it.
I know you can because you have the desire. The Lord will take care of the rest.
I have a family member who went went through the same thing, she thought she wouldn’t be able to come back. I don’t know the exact details of how it happened but through time and patience and the help of the Lord, she became an active, avid member of the church again. She changed so much after that and became a beacon of light and anyone who knows her could see it. Just based on the way you worded your message I know you can be worthy to be in God’s church. You can come back and come back strong. You’re too valuable to the Lord to not be one of His disciples

I was baptized one year ago on the 13th. I love the Lord with all my heart. I have been sick and have not been able to go to church much since then. I keep praying for His healing power. I believe in God's healing power. Great video. God bless you

100% true! I know because it happened to me too many times. Satan is hastening his work. Heavenly Father is hastening his work, as well. As Jeffery R Holland once said, "Pick a side and stay on it". He said that we know the final score on the scoreboard. We know who wins!
I've been inactive in LDS church for 25 of my 50 years on Earth. Still can't deny the power of the Holy Ghost every time President Nelson speaks.
SO WITH THAT FEELING FROM THE HOLY GHOST.. GET UP EARLY NEXT SUNDAY AND MAKE YOUR WAY TO CHURCH...stop fighting it. None of us are perfect but we .can. go to church each week and try..

I was less active too. I invite you to say a 10 second prayer of thanks to God daily. I also invite you to read just 4 verses in the Book of Mormon daily, as well as show up to Sacrament meeting. You can just sit out in the foyer if you don't feel like you are able to go in to the meeting yet. Take very small, but consistent steps. If you do this I promise you, that your life will be immeasurably blessed. I started becoming active in the church by doing small consistent goals weekly, and daily. Try not to beat yourself up, when you might not be making the progress you hoped to make. Just be consistent, and never give up. Remember Jesus loves you, and has suffered death for you, so he will help you, because no one is beyond his power to save, and to bless.
When your ready to return, please go with the spirit of charity. Befriend your fellow followers in Christ. They need you more then you realize.

I was moved by what our Prophet said to us regarding inclinations. He is obviously inspired. I've been hurt and realise how destructive another individual can be. Now, I leave them to the Lord. My burden is lifted. 💙
I haven’t been on the covenant path for a while. I’ve been feeling the urge to get back on it, and just prayed and then found this video right after. Prophets are truly receive inspiration from God.

I was off that path for years & as I began to return to praying, and attending church….I made sure to force myself to be there and continue to do all those simple things we r asked to do. I always had problems understanding & enjoying scripture reading until I found scripture guides by David ridges…. Amazon sells them. These helpers have helped me develop a testimony of the truth & a love of the scriptures. It makes me happy to know of your story. With each step the Lord will bless u with I believe miracles. Continue to being courageous & allow the spirit to guide u Ethan!!
Ethan, I understand your your feelings. I have been through two periods of inactivity in my 50 years of church membership. Recently I've had many experiences similar to the one you had where I was confronted with seemingly unsolvable problems but almost immediately after praying each time I received guidance, answers and love from heavenly Father. The church is true. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and the holy ghost live. ♥️

i'll be heading out to serve a mission in philadelphia, pennsylvania in about a month. i've been watching and reading many general conference talks as i prepare, and this one has always stuck out to me ! i love our prophet and the amazing messages he shares.

Can prophets honestly talk *directly* to Heavenly father though? Why didnt he know about covid or *any* of the natural disasters that have happened while he has been in office?
@@turiguliano416 , he’s one of the signers of the Proclamation on the Family back in ‘95. It was almost unnoticeable then, just like most of the stuff he says now. Time will tell

Right before conference started this morning my husband collapsed into what looked like a seizure. Needless to say general conference Sunday did not go as planned. Thankful for my in laws who could come be with the kids, for bishops who come quickly to give blessings, and for medical doctors who can help him! My husband and I missed conference today but there was lots of prayer and belief in miracles. My husband should be OK. I know God is aware of each of us! Thank you for getting this video up quickly so that I could end this traumatizing day with fresh words from our prophet.I 🙏

I don't know what caused the seizure or what not but I wanted you to know there are many medicines that will control seizures I've had them all my life from Encephalitis in my brain yes I'm able to drive I'm able to function one last note I found at CBD oil although I would never replace it for the man seems to help me when I take a couple of drops in the morning and calms me down I think this help good luck to both of you

i am also an inactive member, but some how, I really enjoy listening to the general conference. I can really feel that the prophet cares for people under misery and despair.

Good day 88dude general conference messages always gives us answers to our problems and doubts. I know as President Nelson said that there is joy in repenting everyday is true, we can also find peace and it's a way that we show humility to our Heavenly Father as we exercise our faith to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by repenting because we don't know the next day if we can still repent.
Repentance is a gift , that's how GOD loves us by giving us chances to become perfect!!!
I've been both inactive and active since 1999, I love conversance and even when I was inactive I watched General Conference. I love President Russell M Nelson as our Latter Day Saint, Seer and revelator. I love hearing him give sermons and pray for his health and resilient soul. Amen

I am a new convert! I'm a Native NY'er who was skeptical but I finally was able to get past..page one about Joseph Smith...but now I know..it's the truth...and you are our prophet...
I once said.. I can't believe I can "tweet a prophet" my other half(not better)..without skipping a beat he said. "But you can't "profit" from a tweet! We both agree the "Book of Mormon" is the missing piece of the puzzle....it makes everything come together!!! I'm a newbie here, I don't know if I'll ever be able to enter a Temple, please put one in Yuma Arizona...
When I was in trouble mentally, I knew I had to contact those closest to God on this planet, and I started with my Bishop, he was on a trip with the young children of our church in yuma, I ended up speaking with the Quorum President, and I met him the next day at Sacrament Meeting! Thank you for your Sister Missionaries.. Sister Afton Anderson and Sister Annelise Farnes were an amazing powerhouse to help bring me to the truth of the Book of Mormon and Alan Osmond my instrument of God to find my way to the restoration of the His Church! God lives in you! And all of us!
Thank you Christine for sharing your journey of life without the church of Jesus Christ and the Book of Mormon. You all are in my prayers constantly that is searching for the truth and I grateful some of my prayers have already been answered by Our Savior Jesus Christ and his missionaries. I hear quite a few people are looking for the truth, but is bombarded by all of the anti Mormon rhetoric and opinions. There was a lot of unbelief and hatred going on back then when Joseph and the Lord was trying to put this church together with hardwired people with a different belief. We have always had Satan's Army against the Church of Jesus Christ from day one. Even the time of Joseph Smith there was a lot of Satan's Army hard at work trying to destroy the prophet of this dispensation. Our missionaries is on the front lines of this vicious War of Good and Evil. To go and gather the wounded and broken before they become casualties of this Great War. We are fighting this war on Earth just like the war before the world was. We all have that choice, just like you and the rest of us, they helped rescue the wounded soldiers of God. Some came willingly and some they had to drag because of their wounds. I had not read all of the maps to find my way, and got lost for a Time, it wasn't long before the Lord heard my prayers and sent the rescue team after me. I have been healed for a long time now, after I found the secret to life. It's not a secret at all because it's all through the scriptures. I found it in the teachings of the church. I know there's many others that have found the secret also. It's called repentance, repentance will heal the heart mind and body all at the same time. You see it's not a secret, only if you live in Babylon and don't believe in our Savior Jesus Christ. No Pharmaceuticals needed.
Maybe one day we’ll see a temple in Yuma! We’ll be back when one comes. We still miss gateway park!

3. learn about God and who he works. Moses provided discernment. Cast Satan's influence out of your life.

5. end the conflict in your life.
Sometimes I fall the Covenant path, but it doesn't take long, before I get my ACT back together again, by repenting. I am so grateful our Lord and savior went the extra mile, even on the cross, because a lot of those drops of blood belong to me. I am grateful!
This is one of the most beautiful Talks I have ever heard. So simply powerful and beautiful the advice he gives. So hard to put into action, yet I know that Heavenly Father will give us the power to forgive all those who have harmed us so dearly. I am a real softly and have innocently been harmed beyond my ability to endure. Yet I believe our prophet; that Heavenly Father will give us power to forgive those who have treated us in the most abusive ways. For I truly Love those who have treated me unfairly and let me devastated in this life. I can't physically or financially heal from their harm, Yet I can spiritually heal from their abuse that has left me physically and financially devastated for life. I know that in the next life it will not matter what they have done to me and I will receive all that the Father has and the unending hardships of this life will not matter. I may not be able to let the abusers back in my life, yet I can forgive them and hope that they repent and are also able to return to our Heavenly Father and also have all the Our Father has.

Such an amazing talk from an amazing Prophet of our loving and living God. I love the 5 actions to gain positive spiritual momentum. Thank you President Nelson. We love you. We pray for you. We will follow you.
The hurt and fear dissipates and faith steps in when you practice and affirm every day that “You are Love” because God is Love.” Jeshua taught this and that we are one. Retraining your brain from shame to Love will bring you closest to the light of Christ within you. We talk to much of fear, hurt, sad things and we perpetuate them seeking for validation and Love outside ourselves. Please brothers and sisters find the unconditional Love that you are made of within. You tell others you love them but how often do you say I love myself. Keep saying it. And if you catch yourself in a misperception of things that don’t Aline with the Love that is in you. Say sorry and say thank you God for forgiving me and I forgive myself. Practice True words and True thoughts until they feel genuine in your subconscious and heart too. If you have a negative thought, reaffirm the positive opposite three times at least. These negative forms of thought will eventually leave you too. And rebuking negative energies/evil spirits in Jesus name, even if it’s in your head and heart-it Works, I Promise! I Love All of You! Thank you for your Love too!

Welcome Shay, we're grateful that you have joined the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This means you have felt something in your heart, like the Holy Ghost testifying of the truth. Things of God we feel in our heart. When you read and study, always pray to understand the truth. Thank you for taking the time to share this great news with us. We are all really new members to the Church of Jesus Christ. What I mean by that is, to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and now we read what the Lord would have us to understand. You can become stronger and stronger each day you read the scriptures oh, it doesn't matter if you read one or two versus daily, take this time to read. Listen closely to the words of the prophet and the 12 apostles. It is important and these last days, especially in the future. I would encourage you to read the Scriptures Daily and pray for guidance ,strength and Truth. I always ask for the gift of discernment also. This way you can know the difference between fiction and Truth. Learn to recognize inspiration whenever it comes, this is the Lord directing you even every single day. Where we can mess up is ignoring the whisperings of the Holy Ghost and inspiration. Don't get it mixed up with temptation. Things of God will always be good. When you do this Ponder and listen. Some important things will come to your mind, write them down. Don't make the mistake, saying to yourself, I can remember that. Write these important things down in a journal or something. These Impressions can come anytime of the day or night. Now that you have the momentum, it's all uphill from here. We don't have any more time to waste, we must keep building our testimony everyday. I would advise you to hand all your worries and pain over to the Lord. The Lord invites us to grab a hold of his yoke, because His yoke is easy, I can promise you it is easy, especially moving uphill constantly towards the Lord's way of life. You will have questions about many different things, after you pray for understanding, Watch What Happens. You can ask the bishop or missionaries, even Elder Quarm president. They can give you some direction in how to do things. On a lot of things you call on the Lord for Direction. Good luck my friend, if you have a few thoughts, you can always send a message to me or others.
I have been on both sides of being inactive and very faithful about going to church, I have watched alot of my family and friends struggle with this to. I have talked to many people who have been inactive. I feel that I have a my fair share of experience on this subject and I just want to tell everyone out there who is struggling with this, come to church , I love you, others do to, we want to get to know you, don't underestimate yourself. If you're not coming because of others...believe me most of the fear and hurt is exploding in your head it is not reality, opposition is trying to keep you away. I felt alone most of my life when I went to church, now i found a ward that I consider family. I realized I could have had this feeling wherever I was before I just didn't open my heart to them. Now I do. And most everyone else feel this way too.
Every words noted President Nelson,i love to listen your talk repeatedly many times to uplift and received strength in myself.

Excellent talk! Temptation reminds me of the pull of gravity, in how it's constant on earth, but when we choose to love God and each other, it reminds me of we can counter act the effects of "gravity" from keeping us grounded, by stepping into an airplane, and taking off. Even in an airplane, gravity still works, but it doesn't keep us grounded. When we choose to follow Christ with our whole souls, he can help us to rise above sin forever!

I needed this talk and revelation today!
I only saw story of prophets in the bible movies or long time ago stories in the bible. Sometimes I feel like I am dreaming that we have "living prophet "in our days. l can not help myself this sensational feelings... I am listening over and over to make sure that what god expects of me Also l have treasures: Old Testaments, New Testaments, The book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenant, Pearl of Great price. When I studying gospel, I feel like going back to "time travel."
My family has recently been talking with 2 young missionaries in WV. The knowledge that these young men possess is amazing.
Issac and Seth we love talking with you guys and I know that God has put us in each other’s paths for a reason. I’ll be honest…I was always skeptical of the LDS simply because I didn’t know anything about them. I just went by what I was told and heard…which all came to be very much not true. We look forward to moving to the next chapter in our lives and thank these elders very much for helping open our eyes a bit.

This is really helpful, my family didn’t watch this last talk so I had to watch it alone and I’m glad I did.

Mmm, to forgive it is such a difficult task! Especially when the individuals who have hurt are from the same fold! Consequently, it can be done! I can forgive and not carry the weight of those who have hurt and this is only possible through the grandiose atonement of Jesus Christ! I remember being in sacrament meeting and asking God to forgive me for seeing the flaws of those who hurt my daughter. I remember telling Him to help me NOT to focus on them and to help me not to judge their actions of evil. I remember that I asked Him to help me keep my promise that I made that day which was that I would not criticize them for what evil and harm they did to my precious daughter and granddaughter. I know without a doubt that only through Him all this is possible! I live my life now, trying to make sure we focus on continuing the covenant path. Just as the ones in the Book of Mormon who bowed to the ground when their enemies came to chop their heads, that is what we have lived and are currently living! But I want to share that although this is happening to us as a family there is also such GREAT peace in our hearts! There is constant personal revelation in our lives during these dark days but we have our lamps lit and we can see through it all! All Glory to our God for His tender mercies!
So precious. Yes, we have been hurt by those who should have protected us. Yet we we stand before him ahd hear "Well done thye good and faithful servant" we will fell joy that all have repented and come back to him.
We are all around imperfect people and attitudes. Through the Lord's atonement he will heal our hearts minds and bodies at the same time, you are right. You and your family are precious to the Lord, all those who are responsible for hurting your family is all so precious to the Lord, the Lord does not want you and your family to fall through the shifter like they did. The Lord will take time to bring his lost sheep back to the fold. Some will cut us clear to the Bone, then the Lord puts his and on it and it is healed slowly but surely. Most important, if we judge them, that same combination will come against us, that is not necessary. That load is too heavy to carry . I can promise you one thing , take the Lord's yoke like he has asked each of us to do and life will get better every single year ! I would hope and pray that they would come to us and say I'm sorry. That is not necessary to come to us , sure it would help heal the heart. The one they should fear most is to the Lord's judgment upon them for they're cruel Act. The laws of the universe will always serve its purpose. What comes around goes around. Just because they are miserable and packing the heavy load they chose to carry, that doesn't mean you have to follow their example. Repentance is one of the greatest gifts God has ever give us and mortality. It surely is the key to happiness. You want happiness also, now it's your turn to continue to teach forgiveness.
I am new to the church. I enjoy every moment I spend there with the congregation. They all are just amazing, spread love and peace.

It’s too bad I didn’t see this a week earlier before it was broadcast. If I had thought about something before I did it, a lot of hardship and grief would’ve been saved. Even at my age with all the things I’ve been through sometimes I still lose my temper with people and it costed me dearly. On the brighter side, when things are tough and the odds are stacked against us that is when we find out who the people are that truly care about us. My supervisor at work it was rude to me and I reacted badly and it costed me my job. It isn’t fair, but I should have bit my tongue. So now the dominoes are falling and I am about to lose the roof over my head because I don’t have a job. Things are not falling into place like they should but a family member has extended an offer for me to come and stay with them for a few weeks until I can get back on my feet. I feel terrible because I’m setting a bad example for my children because I tell them all the time to watch what they say and what they do and to control her temper‘s. I sent them the same message that the only thing they can control in the world is themselves and nothing else and no one else. Still, I didn’t listen to my own advice which really didn’t come from me at all. It came from the spirit. So now I’m in a crisis. Reaching out to people around me for help. That’s a good thing. No person is an island. Even though I’m older and wiser I guess somethings don’t change. I still take the hard road sometimes whether I mean to do it or not. I love with this man has to say. I truly believe that he has a direct connection to the spirit. Still, some things happen for a reason and perhaps God has a plan for me that I can’t see. I can’t change the past and I can’t see the future so I will just take it one day at a time. I will have to do better at controlling myself and managing my emotions. I’m glad these videos are here for me to see and reflect on. As I pack up all the boxes in my apartment and prepare to move out, I also find myself wondering… Why do I need all this stuff? Maybe it’s time for me to not only let go of my anger and my resentment for things I can’t change but maybe it’s also time for me to let go of some of the stuff that I own but don’t actually need or use regularly. I just want to feel lighter in every way.
Some things are a blessing and don't know it at the time. That was excellent advice you give, a masterpiece. Don't lose that knowledge you already have. I did the same thing on my last job, but I kept my mouth shut and did not show any emotion. When the supervisor stopped talking, he asked me if I was going to say anything about the charges he made towards me, all I said was, I guess my job is done here. I knew the Lord had something better for me to do elsewhere. So I handed in my uniforms look for work started, because I knew already the cards were stacked against me. I would not back down to false charges against me, even though I didn't save much them either. I stood my ground. The thing is I knew many months before this happened that's my job was coming to a end, I just didn't know when and kill them. That's when I retired. Before all that I downsized and got everything paid off I really needed in life. And the few bills I do have, when the time comes, I don't really need them anyway. You give great advice. One thing I can promise you, the Lord has something much better for you. Be patient my friend, the Lord knows your needs and he will provide them for you, have faith, learn to listen to the inspiration that comes. While you're at it, latch on to the Lord's yoke, his yoke is much easier than yours. At this time in your life, ask people for help if you need it. Don't deprive the blessings that are in store for your friends and other people. In the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Choice matters. So give them a choice to say yay or nay, just like you do. Good luck my friend, prayers are being sent your way as we speak.

I'm seeing the. Missionaries today at church to help me I think the holy ghost has been telling me in my mind to get the lord back in my life so I can be 😊
This conference was absolutely amazing! It reaffirmed my desire to serve a mission and I can't wait to go at the end of this year!
Adam thank you for serving the Lord and his lost sheep. You are greatly needed in this war, to find as many survivors as possible beforefor their called casualties of War. I pray for all of our missionaries, because they are in the war zone on the front lines. Lord may they all have strengths and guidance by your guiding hands. God bless you and your families!
I listen to this talk daily, it gives me hope that if I follow this path I will be able to feel peace in my life. I am hoping to get spiritual momentum...

Yes yes I agree with those great words you spoke. I am grateful myself we have a Prophet in these latter days before the coming of the Lord. I can't imagine the Lord leaving us alone without a Prophet before His coming together His people with all the Holy Angels in the cloud.

I think I will be watching this a few times a week or even every other day. So grateful for a Prophet of God! I knew Heavenly Father would never leave us without a Prophet for these last days before His 2nd Coming. The forces of evil have gained their momentum, too. We have to strengthen ourselves spiritually, but also physically, mentally, and intellectually.

I ain’t ever had a life you can look up to, but I’ve lived a life you can learn from. There’s quite a number of things we can do to get better, but a chin held high with a strong and clean tongue, outspoken and thought of, can definitely lead you towards blessings! See a need, fill a need! Shake a hand and share a good smile! Guarantee we’ll be blessed and guarantee I won’t be as stressed lol
