The Catholic Church has always hungered for money. The poor give and the priests eat good and dress good. I don’t believe that money sent to this religion goes to where they say it goes. A little goes to the poor so they can truthfully say it goes there. More people are in need now. These priests should start dressing cheaply and eat less. Also, drink more water than wine. Poor people need help now.
The Catholic Church is the single most corrupting and insidiously divisive institutions ever created by the zealotry of ignorant religious dogma, for the purpose of perpetuating that ignorant religious dogma's insidiously divisive corruption.
Start dressing cheaply? No offense but that ship has sailed. They're the wealthiest institution in the entire world. Their inordinate amount of gold, money, priceless artifacts, treasure, cursed items, holy relics, paintings, books, for luxury and excess rivals none, it's positively obscene. And it's all so evil and macabre. Like forty foot wide chandeliers made from human bones, or skulls with massive ruby stones in the eye sockets, some with sapphire, some diamond- now what the hell is THAT all about?? The reason fort Knox has that much secrecy is because the gold us actually in the hands of the Vatican
Why don't you do the research? Western Civilization began when the Catholic Church was begun by the Apostles. It is one, holy and Apostolic church. With the money given in charity, it builds churches, hospitals, schools, Colleges and Universities, orphanages research institutions, it gives money for scientific research. People from all over the world can go to its hospital which is famous.
I don't know where you get your information but it is wrong.
Maybe you should stop buying clothes and give that money to charity.
Anyone can go to a Catholic Church and get money for food and lodging. Catholics are very generous. Our church has a huge amount of money in trust for when it's needed.
I will be sure to tell my parish priest to stop buying his vestments because you don't like it. "These priests" mostly live very simply. They are always available to their parishioners and eat like normal people. Many have birth families that they help out or do work all over the world in jungles, etc. Africa and the East are having a boom in new parishioners and live in poverty like they do.
I have studied church history because I am a Youth Instructor. I have to be able to answer every question they ask.

I'm from a small corner of the world in south Asia, probably a place backward villages and hardly people knows... but the catholic missionaries have been so good setting up education institutions, hospitals, orphanage, job opportunities etc etc which is funded by pope.. what we give are merely fresh vegetables for their proper Diet for Revs. Frs. To live at least Lil comfortable in our backward area.. yet these missionaries are full of love and generosity, they do not even urge us for monetary donations and put their own money and skill investment for our growth and development....They have been doing this for 100 years...they stay purely out of politics and Works on humaterian grounds but also educates our fellow youth on moral, academics etc etc and councils us.. not only in our place but in many neighboring states of our the Church helps so selflessly even though we are from the complete other side of the world....
