Don't know if you ever figured it out but the reason you were going through batteries so much is cus you was using the full beam on all the shadows the shadows with nobody inside will disappear slowly if you just shine the normal light on them it's only the shadows with people inside you use the full beam on The way you can tell if they have people inside is they come at you faster they have super speed or teleport but the ones with no people inside stand still or move slowly Best way to test is to stand close but not too close to a shadow shine the normal light and if they don't slowly disappear they have someone in them so they are dangerous and you need to use full beam cus every time you use full beam on the ones that disappear you are wasting batteries
y'all gotta be kidding me. I guess where I am now, it's too late for that (Just reached the area of the Valhalla nursing home). There are hardly any shadow people anymore, only wolves, masked people and the zoomies
As im sitting here watching the beginning of your subway experience to see if you can help me as Ive been down here forever it seems and have already revealed all 3 plots and still am aimlessly lost...also your "Fuck my lifeeeee" song is so very accurate I died LOL 🤣🤣
I learned that some shadows were no threat by looking at them with the light. Don’t boost it instantly, they are see through if they are no threat and the solid shadows were an actual enemy. That was my tell tale on whether or not to boost at them.
They also disappear when you get closer to them. A viewer told me about this.. such a game changer lol. I was wasting all my batteries on those shadowy bastards!
Please play Control on the channel. Would definitely watch. You will really like control. Make sure to get all the DLC. Especially now that you have played Alan Wake 1 and 2.
Hey, just noticed your channel and the way you play and explain things is very interesting. I didnt play first game only 15 % of it when it released back then. At that time I didnt know english and the game loop was veeery repetitive. So it was boring because I didnt understand anything )) And before playing this game, I just watched all the lore videos of Alan wake, DLC and Control. And played the game and good that I watched them. I am still in the early part of it. But when I watch you playing, I see you said it is nightingale in the beginning and other things, makes your Alan wake 2 series very enjoying. And the point of that comment isssss :D When you enter that alley in the beginning, notice you go left but you end up exit the from the door in the right. It doesnt aligned correct. Just like a dream. I am in the beginning of your video, but there is other places like that too. For example you are going up with stair case after you find first save room on second floor, but end up on ground floor and so on... It feels so weird and dreamy ))) And yess, my english is still terrible. But at least I can understand lores. LOL
the amount of jesse faden quotes alan parrots its amazing! seems you re missing the most important half of this shared universe... one word: CONTROL! you need to get to the oldest house ASAP!
I love Control. I have read every little paper so I really understand the world, which is kinda funny because AW is game that is driven by the story but Control is a game where The World you are in is a story and you have to actively try and find piecies of information unless all you want to do is to help Ahti to clear the house.
I thought the synchronized coffee drinking thing was just an inside joke about Sam Lake's social media (or possibly a Twin Peaks reference?). Either way, enough other characters interact with him in the game to disprove the "figment of Saga's imagination" theory (the cop at the start, Alan, Estevez later in the game).
Oh did that come first? I don't actually know what came first.. the in-sync coffee on social media, or in the game! haha. And yea you're right, I realized that later.
I must confess I have a love/hate relationship with Remedy, I discovered the studio with CONTROL and was spellbound! From the mind blowing story, the gameplay, to the intricate Bureau's architecture, I loved it! Then I played Alan Wake and found the story interesting but the gameplay repetitive and boring and then went on to play Quantum Break and beat it but didn't feel anything, it was bland af... I'm really nervous about AW2, I can't decide if I should play it or just continue enjoying your gameplay... 🤷🏽
AHAHAH. LOOOL. You literally wasted all of your lights for non enemy shadows in the beginning alley, and the last one was actual enemy and now you will think, he attacked because you didnt put light on him, and you will waste even more light to non enemy shadows after that because you wasted all of your light on non enemy shadows. OMG. LOL!!!! XD PS: And it means you didint even watch the PR Demo games. If you watched you wold know that ))) PS PS: And I am sad, because, most tensin comes from determining, if the shadow is enemy or not. You stare at the shadow, get ready, it moves like crazy and at the end vanishes. But the little trick, if it holds a melee weapon in the hand, it will attack you. Pay attention to there right hand before putting light on them
Sorry for the salty start it get's better later on, and I swear I love this game haha
I'm in the mood for a Dark NYC. This story is getting more insane. It's great to see Alan Wake's stories in the game. You are doing a good job on it.
@@jeremythompson265 I was so lost.. and because of that had to fight the same enemies over and over.. uughhh
@@LIZZgame Trust me I understand. I had to go through the same thing.

@@Garrie2976 Thanks! Someone in the chat told me a bit later.
You dont have to use your light on every shadow. Some are harmless and some will attack. Wait until a shadow attacks and then use flashlight.
Was about to tell her that lol

Love the linear edit, good viewer experience ❤

Will she ever stop wasting the light on every shadow, and enemies already burned to constantly run out? We shall see 😄
hmmm maybe.
Watching later and wandering if she’ll ever find it out by the end of the game 😂
