I'm new to the Lemon Twigs and had never seen them before tonight. Drove to see them. Wasn't really impressed. They sounded nothing like what I'd heard. They only played for an hour and packed up. I was so confused because they sounded and looked so different. It wasn't until after driving home, in the middle of the night that I realized that the band I had watched was only the opening act. Duh! I feel so dumb. I like this band. Wish there'd been an announcer making it clear. I'll have to keep my ears open for when they're playing in the area again. These guys are great.
Tbh that’s really up to you.. don’t just “show up” look around go “huh” this doesn’t seem right? And then… proceed to just not ask questions? Look online..? Check the bill? I mean I get it if you don’t know what they look like but you said they didn’t look like you remembered … so yeah.. wait for the next band maybe. I’m sure there was information or someone at the venue, in the crowd you could’ve asked. Use the skills and capabilities you have ..
@@seth6691 I'm not complaining. It was just different than concerts I've attended in the past. The ticket information said nothing about an opening act. I should have asked someone but I didn't think about it until later. Just disappointed I didn't get to see them.
