Bonsai & Killifish from Japan BM. has rich experience and talent to see new or better way to grow bonsai. I am also new, most of the times I am also afraid to make more changes, but with azaleas I tried to cut drastically to look more like bonsai :). Good day, glad you post more videos, it is relaxing and precious work and information!
What caine of soil do you use?
In case of our shop, Bonsai master always use the KANUMA soils to the SATSUKI Azalea. And Bonsai master use the AKADAMA soils to the pine tree. But I do not know the other people use what soils to what trees. Thank you for watching.

After the first cut off branch I thought it looks already a lot better. So the reason to cut it back drastically was to compact the tree structure ?

Greetings. I always enjoy watching your videos. on this occasion I ask a great advice .... I have an Azalea satsuki already This is the 4 Azalea that I have and bad luck always die. I can not have it like the other little trees. I live in the United States an area that the 4 seasons are given in a hard way. the temperature drops as low as -15 degrees Fahrenheit and rises a lot, maybe even as in Puerto Rico. Now if you can give me care advice? already tried tips that are already in books. I want something that is from a person's experience and that would be you. if you went well with one or have good experience with them I ask your advice. I hope soon for your help thanks and continue so it goes of the best .
Hector Vazquez if temperatures drops below 10 degrees Celcius better keep it somewhere inside, 18-20 degrees not more.
