never roll your gum blanket , how can you put it on when it is raining and you are on the march .... and your blanket roll should be twisted so it requires only one tie ... do not hang your cup on the outside of your gear - not good to use it once it has been in contact with poison ivy or poison oak .... nice try , but no cigr ... take care , Mike
You want your gun blanket on the outside else if you go through a shower or two you have a wet blanket to sleep under.
