    These videos constantly remind me of the stupid shit i do in game, and has helped me be more conscious of it, which has, sort of improved my game haha. I find i have a complete lack of focus when solo queuing though, unless I'm queued with people, i tend to inadvertently try less. Idk. Plus constantly being in pain is quite the distraction lol

    Do you think you’d ever do a series covering common positions for each map?

    • @iArrivall
      @iArrivall 11 місяців тому +4

      He often ends up doing that on many of these coaching videos. Maybe not every single position has been hit yet but he will show the common reactions and util for where his client is playing to help them, as well as others. Don't just watch these passively, watch them actively and understand when he's going into depth about these things and think about them from his perspective as well as your own and you will get exactly the information you're looking for.

      Yes you should always counter strafe

  • @mushbeck
    @mushbeck 10 місяців тому

    The ADAD spam issue . I think it’s dues to a lot of players feeling very vulnerable if they are static/not moving , especially when holding an angle . Moving allows them to get a sense that they can choose when to start the gun fight by counterstafing against the direction they happen to be moving at the time .
    It’s also offsets peekers advantage , so when they are just standing on a angle someone’s swings out they see you first and can line up while moving than stop and shoot where as if your static while your static u have to hope your pre aim is perfect or ur done . Hence why people jiggle while holding and stafe as they get swung so the opponent has to work harder to aim and you can wait for them to stop .
    I disagree that it’s the worst thing ever , I agree that if you do it and give away noise or shoulders than it’s dumb. but doing it while posted can be an advantage . Hell I’ve seen donk do this . When he is posted he is adad or he strafes as he gets peeked .

    • @pienixcs
      @pienixcs  10 місяців тому +1

      The whole point is he didn't counter strafe on the a/d
      It's not bad if you control the stop perfectly
      Unfortunately many new players can't, so first they gotta learn to strafe

    Quick question, are those demos? My CS2 crashes if I try to play a demo. What program are you using to watch demos?

    • @okarowarrior
      @okarowarrior 11 місяців тому +1

      Cs2 shouldn't crash while watching demos. That's something on your end, sadly

    • @pienixcs
      @pienixcs  11 місяців тому +2

      playdemo "name of the file" in the console
      You gotta put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo
      file has to end with .dem

      Not saying they don't, i'm coaching beginners though who don't feel the movement that well yet and that's why its distracting to a/d. Also better players will counter strafe on each small move, maybe you dont notice it

  • @preletacpreletacevic4317

    To be honest, some of the stuff you say is good, but there is some stuff that is complete bs. For example, you're criticizing the player for pressing ADAD in quick succession ("spamming"), when that is exactly what he should be doing. 1. It makes it harder for the opponent to hit a headshot, 2. Makes the player focus more on the screen and what is going on (this one could be subjective), and also the player is fully accurate while spamming ADAD if done properly to not exceed certain velocity. Fpr a reference, pros are doing it all the time.

    • @wrathful8178
      @wrathful8178 9 місяців тому +1

      It's not criticizing it's trying to get a player in to good habits pro player are on a different lvl and can't be a pure example you should get in good habits than have you're own twiks and micro decision

    • @pienixcs
      @pienixcs  9 місяців тому +2

      Better players can do it coz we're so used to counter strafing, mindless spamming of the keys is not the same though
