Sometimes bootleg transformers are better than hasbro's, more clear and smooth
But hasbro has so many variants or as they called it "classes"

This is the most OG optimus ive ever seen
It may look the simplest but, it has the best and most complicated transformation. No compromise with the design, complete packing. Excellent product.
What's crazy is that they could have kept the same grill for both modes if they wanted to. It would be the first and only MP scale G1 Prime with all real parts(grill, chest, gas tanks).

@@王老五-k3r well that one is right under it. I think this one is just aesthetically superior. MP44 does have the audio feature though but that wasn't something I ever factored in.
Clean and simpler transformation, great articulations. Whoever designed this version, they done a great job outclassing Takara Tomy, Hasbro, and other third parties.

I have one and I can say without a doubt it's a wonderful masterpiece styled figure and would recommend this to anyone wanting a g1 styled Optimus Prime. The figure looks even better when you give it the alternate head that is more like the MP-44 head.
Yeah, transformation is complex (but the good kind) , back of the truck is clean and no kibble, and a freakin good robot mode that doesn't have visible panel lines.

The design and engineering in this is amazing. Both modes are accurate looking, great articulation and doesn't look too complicated to transform. Makes me want one!
What do you mean this doesn’t look to complicated to transform? The $300 MP 10 version is a lot less complex than this.

Wow... This looks a lot like the G1 cartoon series Optimus Prime. Other versions may have a lot more detail (and probably moving parts), but this version seems to be pretty accurate. I wonder how sturdy these toys are; all the small parts that make up these newer versions of the G1 figures must mean that they are awfully fragile.

TE-01 is a great alternative to MP-44. Pulls off plenty of poses, looks toon accurate, and solidly built. All at a FRACTION of what MP-44 costs.
It's a shame that some third party companies can produce such excellent figures better than what Takara can do.

Well this is on my wish list now. It is amazing how Takara's MP-44 is a nightmare to transform, yet 3rd party companies consistently manage to pull of such elegance.

That is just amazing!! I love how all the different versions of the G1 Optimus Prime have differing transformation methods and still come out looking close to his Animated Character Design. This version here looks to be about 100% accurate to that classic animated model.
Growing up in the late '70s and early '80s, I am both envious and amazed at how far the "science" of Transformer toys has evolved. Not taking away from what I grew up with, but these toys would have killed it on the market had this level of quality and detail been a round in my childhood. The danger of breakage is also likely higher too. lol!
