you should have spent the money on and SYE instead of all the lights . transfer case might still be good just need SYE and hopefully the pump in transfer case and all other parts might be good
It’s definitely not good lol watch my next video that’s coming out Sunday. Transfer case is messed up inside. Won’t shift out of 4 low and makes a horrible clicking noise when in gear now. I bet the whole transfer case is garbage. SYE possibly would’ve prevented this. But if I had the money to do the sye I would’ve done it. Been wanting to do it for years but don’t have the $1000 to throw at it
SYE and truetracs, I have truetracs front and rear in my TJ and I really love them, if you have Dana 35, you should swap it for a 8.8, stronger than Dana 44 and cheap
1wd is just not good , team work always gets everything off the trail , we in the Mark Twain Mafia here at Glade top trail Missouri never leave anyone behind and we've had some crazy breaks 🇺🇲🏴☠️
Always keep your spirits high it can always be fixed. ….gonna be interesting I been jeeping where people actually put me motors in at the trail. When I crawled there was a lot of jeeps to pathfinders to actual comp crawlers so everyone helped each other. We even had swap meets. It was a blast I can not wait to do it again.
@@SmokinMonkeyOG yes I had so many good times. I have another jeep Cherokee I used for parts. So I brought things with me. I traded 2 head lights and fender for a weld job I had a hole in my floor. The guy stated I got metal to fix it and welder he asked for the items I stated yes let’s get it done. I e helped people on lifts as well and bumpers I plan to diy a off-road bumper for my Tj as well soon I’ll be doing videos of that just waiting on the garage to be cleaned out
Probably got a mud or debris in your transfer case with the large puddles you had to go through to get out. Didn’t you buy a transfer case in a previous video when you blew your diff?
Transfer case are not bad to put back in. It happens. Put it this way now you got a new Jeep coming. Just use the yellow for more options like .just not get rid of it ..owning one Jeep is hard I’m down to one from owning two to one I still miss having two …
Ya the yellow one will be for trails and stuff that is sketchy and the new one will be for more adventures, camping, and easier trails until it’s built up
@@SmokinMonkeyOG correct I miss my Cherokee I had I did the lift and transfer case update I’ve done a lot of work on it but I do miss it. That is why I stated do t get rid of it. Transfer cases are easy and that piece you can replace rebuild kits are out there could be a great video for ya.
Glad you two made it home safe... and that is why you never wheel alone, cheers!
Thanks man! I agree you should always have another vehicle there just in case
So that's what it looks like from behind lol. Glad I could make it out bro
Thanks bro! Would’ve been sleeping in the woods if it wasn’t for you lol
@@SmokinMonkeyOG any time man. Always an adventure when we hit the trails
You got that right lol
Nice time to replace 4wd switch)))
Yup lol 😂
Great adventure guys. Well done together. 💪🏼
Thanks bro

That’s the plan once I can get the parts together I want to do exactly that
that sux, sounds like the engine is going to give up soon
I hope not lol
SYE bro 🙏
I think there’s more problems inside the transfer case as well. Don’t think a SYE will fix this one, going to need a whole new case
Time for an SYE! Probably would have prevented failure in the first place. Glad you were able to make it off the trail with your rig. Nice work!
I was hoping the breaking stuff incident would have been more dramatic.
I wasn’t even going that hard so I guess it was ready to go

Ya we never leave anyone behind. I find the off roading community is really great at helping each other out

That’s awesome! The off road community is usually super helpful I find

I should have gone to concession that weekend. Ended up doing Picard lake instead.
Glad you got the jeep out. What a dAY!

Never put that one in and returned it. But my buddy has one for me that I’ll be throwing in tomorrow

Ouch. Life in 2wd
So all it took was the v area? Or was it possibly already faulty?
Probably lots of abuse over the years weakened it I think
