Brian and Presley I'm not sure who I appreciate more! Presley's patience with Dad messing with her hair or Brian for even attempting it! My daughters' hair was always a challenge!
If you do two braids in each pigtail and use smaller hair ties to hold them, then wrap each of the braids in opposite directions the space buns will look fuller and the ties at the bottom will be easier to hide when pinning. Also, Milabu has great tutorials for short hair.
Agreed! With a little more... There are smaller, thinner cloth elastics that you can get for the base but the larger are fine. What I use for my braided buns and the braids I pin up under my cosplay wigs are the small clear plastic elastics. They go "invisible" in your hair and don't add bulk to the braid where you don't want it. I can send a tweet with what I mean later :)
it might help if when you wrap the buns, carefully take off the hair tie holding the braid at the bottom and use that and some Bobby pins to secure the bun while still holding the braid

Great! Saw your tweets and we will get some! Thank you!
Another good brush to use for sensitive hair is a wet brush, it's all I used. Also they look faboulous in her hair 😂

I use that kind of brush for my daughter's hair. it's the best!
I find if the hair is wet (not dripping wet), you can get a tighter braid, you can get closer to the ends.
thanks for the tip!
Buy hair donuts, it would help alot and wet the hair a little
