I really want to go to the program at USC; their screenwriting professors are GOOD. Although you don't really need to register with WGAW anymore, from what I hear. If you register with US copyright office, that should leave you covered as far as I know. Just saying, for those of you who are on a tight budget :)

I have written a script which I fully believe to be a blockbuster. It is a prequil to Braveheart. I have contacted all of the agents thru the Screenwriter's Guild, but to no avail. They will not accept first time writers. Period. They will not even read it. What can I do?

I wouldn't focus on writing content for other peoplea films. It might be better to get some orginal content out there first. Then maybe try and sell the script
