Would love to try these motorcycle camping
I'm looking forward to seeing a comparison video of the Safari to the regular Haven. I do a lot of car based camping, but some occasional backpacking as well. I'm in a tent once a month and would like to know how they compare and what might be the best option.
Jeff! Thanks for checking us out. If backpacking is on the table, I would go with our standard or XL Haven Tent. If weight is not an issue, the Safari comfort level will be hard to beat. Really comes down to how you intend to use the product.
Ok Derek, what did I just see at the very end. Haha new colors or something new all around. :). BTW just got my XL and slept in it. Was great.
Thanks so much! At the end there you saw a Haven Safari. A car camping version that will be launching on Kickstarter tomorrow. March 21!
There would've been a ME-Shaped hole in the side of that tent had I saw that thing on my leg.
Honey… I have to go camping again!… No, it’s for work!!
😂 exactly… “it’s a content trip” The more you all engage, the more trips I get!
Judging from the size of that ferntipede, I'd say I bet you wish you had packed a brown Haven.
The breakdown of synthetic fibers is the main cause of microplastics in our waters. I'd love to see a waxed canvas version for people who are cool with the extra weight.
If i got bit by a centipede that large, all wolfs and coyotes would be at my camps door due to the pitch of my scream
Does the Safari have a more insulated pad?
The it is made from thicker material but has the same amount of synthetic insulation inside. It will be more insulated by nature of the material but not much.
That's not a pack... just sayin'. If you can really camp with that then its fine to pack a hammock that's 3x heavier than the rest.
great looking hang/hike. glad you didn't "discover" the cliff in the dark.
Haha. Me too!! Thanks for joining the adventure.
