This is really getting me back to those days when I was in Cadet college Petaro and when everybody was sleeping in the midst of dark night, I used to read Kalaam e Iqbal and although I was not good in Urdu, I use to grasp the deep emotions that emanates from each and every word of Allama Iqbal and used to find myself in the abyss of thoughtfulness and ultimately tears bespattered the eye lashes and cheeks. There was something in his words that oozed from a pure heart and envisioned sight that he put them in words like emeralds and gems.
Mere raunte khade ho gye I am only 16. Years old but I love this ghazal very much mai din me ek baat zaroor sunti hu and my favorite lines " na kahi jaha me ama mili jo ama mili to kaha mili"

Every time I listen this Nazem of Alma Mashkriq, as I wrote above, you feel coming back home like a prodigal son and get acquainted, get introduced to yourself, who you are, as if we are living irrationally in this materialistic world beyond the conscience of our mission of compassion and love. I believe we have not been given free licence without obligations on this beautiful blue planet of "god's land" as Greek philosophers used to say that god's had created it for themselves. Thus our passage is a privilege given to learn, live and discover beauty of God through the human compassion, mercy and humanity. I feel convinced we can't discover divine beauty unless we become part of it. Perhaps there lies the solution of all our problems both spiritual and material.

के हज़ारों सजदे तड़प रहे हैं... मेरी जबीने-नियाज़ में
کبھی اے حقیقتِ منتظر نظر آ لباسِ مجاز میں
کہ ہزاروں سجدے تڑپ رہے ہیں مری جبینِ نیاز میں
Muntazar/मुन्तज़र/ منتظر = वो जिसका इंतेज़ार है/Awaited;
(Muntazir/मुन्तज़िर = One Who Is Waiting/इंतेज़ार करनेवाला)
Haqeeqat-e-Muntazar/हक़ीक़ते-मुन्तज़र/ حقیقتِ منتظر = The Awaited Truth (= God); (वो) हक़ीक़त (यानि अल्लाह) - बंदे जिस के (नुमाया/प्रकट होने के) इंतेज़ार में हैं
Libaas/लिबास/ لباسِ = Garment, पैह्राओ/Apparel, रूप, भेस/Form
Majaaz/मजाज़/ مجاز = Metaphor; Unoriginal; Figurative; Material/Tangible;
असल को छोड़कर, माद्दी/भौतिक/Physical शक्ल में;
Libaas-e-Majaz Mein/ लिबासे-मजाज़ में = In a Physical/Tangible/Perceptible Form other than Your original form which is impossible to behold; अपने असली रूप के अलावा किसी और माद्दी रूप में
Jabeen/जबीन/ جبین = Forehead, Face, पेशानी/माथा, चेहरा
Niyaaz/नियाज़/ نیاز = Submission; Offering, Dedication; Humility, Obedience, Entreaty
Jabeen-e-Niyaaz/ जबीने-नियाज़ = submissive forehead; Humble/Praying Forehead
For once, O awaited Reality, reveal Yourself in some material form (other than your original form),
because a thousand prostrations are longing eagerly in my submissive forehead.
ऐ ख़ुदा, तू वो हक़ीक़त है जिसके दीदार का हर किसीको बेताबी से इंतेज़ार है। (मूसा की तरह मैं भी तुझे तेरे असली रूप में नहीं देख सकता, इसलिए) तू मुझे किसी और माद्दी/भौतिक रूप में दिखाई दे। क्योंकि (इस वक़्त) हज़ारों सजदे मेरी नियाज़मंद (विनम्र/आज्ञाकारी) पेशानी में (अदा होने के लिये) तड़प रहे हैं।

Ke Shikasta Ho To Azeez-Tar Hai, Nigaah-e-Aainaa-Saaz Mein
तू बचा-बचा-के न रख इसे; तेरा आईना है वो आईना
के शिकस्ता हो तो अज़ीज़-तर है, निगाहे-आईना-साज़ में
تو بچابچا کے نہ رکھ اسے، ترا آئينہ ہے وہ آئینہ
کہ شکستہ ہو تو عزيز تر ہے نگاہ آئینہ ساز ميں
Aainaa/आईना/ آئينہ = Mirror (Figuratively: Heart); दर्पण, दिल
Shikasta/ शिकस्ता /شکستہ = Broken, टूटा हुआ
Azeez-Tar/ अज़ीज़-तर / عزيز تر = Dearer, ज़्यादा प्यारा
Nigaah/ निगाह / نگاہ = Eyes, दृष्टि
Aainaa-Saaz/ आईना-साज़ / آئینہ ساز = Maker of the Mirror (Heart) = God, ईश्वर
Do not try to keep it protected (all the time), for your mirror (that is, your heart) is the mirror (heart)
that would be dearer in the Maker's eye whenever it gets broken (to fulfil God’s commandments against one’s innate desires).
Whether it is performance of acts of worship or keeping off worldly desires/sins, one has to keep breaking (going against) his heart to make the Creator of that very heart happy!
ऐ इनसान, तू अपने दिल (आईने) को बचा-बचा-के न रख क्योंकि तेरा दिल (आईना) ऐसा आईना है के जब-जब भी ये ख़ुदा की फ़रमाबरदारी के लिये शिकस्ता किया (तोड़ा) जाता है तो वो इस के बनाने वाले (आइना-साज़/ख़ुदा) की नज़र में और भी ज़्यादा प्यारा (अज़ीज़-तर) होता जाता है।

Na Kaheen Jahaan Mein Amaan Milee, Jo Amaan Milee To Kahaan Milee
Mere Jurm-e-Khanaa-Kharab Ko Tere Afw-e-Bandaa-Nawaz Mein
न कहीं जहॉं में अमॉं मिली; जो अमॉं मिली, तो कहां मिली
मेरे जुर्मे-ख़ाना-ख़राब को, तेरे अफ़्वे-बंदा-नवाज़ में
نہ کہيں جہاں ميں اماں ملی، جو اماں ملی تو کہاں ملی
مرے جرم خانہ خراب کو، ترے عفو بندہ نواز ميں
Amaan/अमां/ = Shelter, Refuge
Jurm/ जुर्म/ = Misdeed, Crime
Khanaa-Kharab/ ख़ाना-ख़राब/ خانہ خراب = Something that Destroys the Entire Household; house-wrecking
Afw/अफ़्व/ عفو = Forgiveness, माफ़ी
Bandaa/ बंदा/ بندہ = Servant; सेवक, दास Navaaz/ नवाज़/ نواز = Cherisher; कृपालु
Bandaa-Navaaz/ बंदा-नवाज़/ بندہ نواز = Cherisher of Servants, सेवक पर कृपा करने वाला
My house-wrecking misdeeds found no refuge (shelter) in the wide world;
The only refuge they found was in Your Gracious Forgiveness!
ऐ ख़ुदा! मेरे पूरे घर को बरबाद-करनेवाले गुनाह (जुर्मे-ख़ाना-ख़राब) को सिर्फ़ तेरी बंदो-पे-मेहेरबान-रैह्नेवाली माफ़ी (अफ़्वे-बंदा-नवाज़) में पनाह/शरण (अमॉं) मिली।
