After the last election, and the questions around voting numbers, i am not sure our voting system is trustworthy now. I think its in need of a complete revamp so it can not be manipulated in anyway and we get true and accurate numbers. The way our country is divided now, it is possible to see protests on either side! The only thing i will standby is that this election will be going down historically as a truly unusual election!

As a regular poll worker, the upcoming election on Nov 5 makes me extremely uneasy. In June 2016 I knew that DJT would win the election. For weeks I've felt that the upcoming election is like someone threw a whole pack of playing cards into the air. All the cards are still "airborne ," none has made " landfall." Go back and look at the stories of the 1960 election; I read that John Kennedy won one state by 100 votes (?). Or was it the whole country?
Illinois, it was Illinois and the Chicago vote. Many still believe his father had a hand in that with all of his Chicago mob connections. Many things can happen, or many things can be accused, no matter who wins.
It was Illinois that put JFK over to win. His father had a LOT to do with that deception.

@@PS_testing321... mine is near Charlevoix. Close enough to Boyne Mt or the others for skiing. Lots of snowmobile trails cross country skiing trails walking trails etc. Lots of wild life. Not on the water but beach, boat launch, ferry and on the water restaurant at end of road.. Ferry makes Boyne closer. Charlevoix address but Ironton at one time was the town which disappeared. A nice quiet area.

I believe Constitutionally we have to have the election that day. In the past elections have been challenged (remember the "hanging chad?" but are ratified.
True. It would be too late for a Constitutional change. That would need an overwhelming vote of Congress, or a 2/3 vote U.S. states. That could take months. More likely, one side will challenge.
People being very unhappy could mean either side since we such a divided country. If Kamala ends up as President because Biden is no longer in the picture and Trump wins the election, Kamala and her party will not accept that. As President, she could put a monkey wrench into the works to delay Trump taking the office. Anything is possible.

Constitutional changes take an act of congress and that wont happen .They take time and a lot of votes. Right now house is majority Republican do you think they would even consider it? They couldn't even get the bipartisan border changes passed.

Georgia is doing both per Trumps request. Dont know if anyone else is. Think he is hoping for a big difference in them to challenge other states. It will delay results but not sure how long.

I listened to an EXCELLENT author who just put out a book explaining WHY the USA has division in their candidates. It gave me a better respect for WHY people want Trump to win. It was an eye opener for me. I expect a couple of weeks post election upset while sorting out any challenges but then the nation will settle down to moving forward. I’m ok with that no matter who wins.
So many people on both sides have no interest in listening to the other side so I think it's great that you did this! No matter who wins, it's no going to be easy for them to do much with the congress and house of Representatives being so divided, perhaps that will make people calmer? 🤷🏼♀️ I don't know

I firmly believe Trump has a good heart and wants the best for our country. And unfortunately does not know how to express himself in a gentle manner at times I doubt in my own mind that this is going to be an honesty election, but all we can do, as US citizens is to vote for whom we believe is the best candidate and conserve the United States in the best way. In the meantime, pray and have faith and we know that God is going to take care of all of us.

I enjoyed this reading! I'm in Australia and watching the elections closely. I'm anxious about the level of civil unrest that's certain to happen over this election. While neither candidate is absolutely perfect in every way, I sincerely feel that Trump has the best interests of the US and also holds a brighter future for the free world. I feel shocked that the Biden/ Harris administration has so severely compromised the safety of citizens with their lack of border protection. Plus, there are many other concerns I'll not list! I saw a speech by Tulsi Gabbard and found her to be such a strong, measured, powerful person. I hadn't seen her speak before, and it struck me that she would make a great candidate one day. I never used to like Trump, but I realised I was biased based on cultural norms simply because of other political figures I'd been familiar with and I wasn't used to all the flashy bling hotels, and TV shows, his larger than life personality. But, I realised, actually, how fantastic he is. A successful businessman who worked hard to achieve, and this should be encouraged. He has contributed greatly to the American economy, not just taken from it via taxpayers. I've taken a lot of interest in getting to know candidates, their past performance, and policies. It seems clear to me that the Republican party, Trump specifically because he's a "disruptor" like a loose canon not so incestuous with the government that Biden/ Harris appear to be strategically positioning themselves with. I don't see that Harris loves the nation. She seems unable to recognise that her decisions could forever change future generations. I'm not sure if she has children, as a mother, my first consideration is what life they will end up with if freedoms are lost.
What about a woman's right to decide whether she wants to have children? It's my body, not the government. Hell to the Handsmaid's Tale shit show.

The place I disagree is the part about low voter turnout. If that turns out to be true, then we get what we deserve. I know people who don’t vote simply because they have the old notion that not registering keeps them off the jury pool lists. That used to be true but most states changed that long ago to draw juries from the drivers license lists. So get your ass out there and vote for whoever you want and you can say you at least tried if your candidate doesn’t prevail.
