For those having issues with a blank planner tool, downgrading your csp version will fix it. But for those who want to be on the latest preview version, there is a missing file that you need in 'extensions\config' folder. The file is 'data_oem_colors_modern.txt'. You can grab this file in previous csp verisons.
Some advice if you're having problems with the map, if you had the ptr1 release delete it and then re-add ptr2, I didn't realize that it says it in the instruction in the srp discord server for a while.
*Quick note brought to my attention:* The tatsumi PA layout does come with PTB2 it's not a part of the traffic mod. The 2real traffic mod does however cause checksum issues on most servers running this layout due to a modified surfaces.ini
Do you mind addressing the problems regarding the traffic planner tool crashing for most of the people that followed along your tutorial. It makes no sense to upload a tutorial that doesn't actually work. Thank you.
If your traffic planner tool is coming up blank after install. downgrade to the CSP 0.1.79 version as used in the vid and run the track and activate the traffic planner. For some reason for me. after i downgraded and ran it, it suddenly worked. After i exited the track i then just reinstalled my CSP to the most recent preview and it seems to now work with it. I don't know how many people this will work for but it worked for me. Hope this helps alot of you guys out
For those who can't load in the AI traffic, the AI lanes has not been created for some reason therefore no ai cars are spawning.. I don't have a solution just yet but just to let y'all know that its not your download or the steps you did wrong, it may have been the map's fault..

Shutoku has varying speed limits, but typically 70 or 80KPH listed, with normal driving being usually 0-20 over, traffic allowing. This road is notorious for becoming congested, so the traffic adjustment is... realistic... IMO :P

Thanks got it working. Had to install it a second time. The first go I had an error "sim has crashed". Deleted the folder G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\lua\tools\csp-traffic-tool then reinstalled it from the zip

if you go to traffic planner click on show lanes and there are none, check you trafic file is where your surface file is too, and if the traffic file is kinda empty replace it with one from the non traffic Tsunami maps. The traffic file should be FULL of numbers
Works great, but setting the speed above 1x causes the traffic vehicles to jerk forward. Also, sometimes the AIs will clip into each other, I think around converagance areas, where two lanes become one.
Go to content/tracks/shuto_revival.../tatsumi_pa/data/ open Surfaces with the editor, and put these lines on the end that worked for me. [_SCRIPTING_PHYSICS] ALLOW_TRACK_SCRIPTS=1 ALLOW_DISPLAY_SCRIPTS=1 ALLOW_NEW_MODE_SCRIPTS=1 ALLOW_TOOLS=1

Thanks for the tutorial. This appears to be a setup for offline. Are the steps fairly similar regarding a private server setup where my friends and I can join? Would just run on a local machine I have. I'm just wondering on that traffic setup where it could be made into a default spawn, rather than having to launch the app every time to get AI on the road.

I managed to get everything working except 1 thing and I can't find anybody else that has the same problem, in the video we install a carpack that gets us variety for the AIs cars's skin right ? It does not work for me... It's always the same 4 cars and there's no variety at all compared to when he drives in the video...

Look if you selected the right map, i was using an older version and got the same warning. But still i have a problem where even with all set up and traffic planner opening cars just don't spawn
You should probably mention that if there are already other traffic mods installed that it may cause issues. My game is now constantly crashing and i cant play. cheers

For me anyway, the issue was that I suck at paying attention. Make sure to download the first link in the description, install that in CM by dragging and dropping. THEN install the rest of the mods in the EXACT order shown on screen. I didn't do it EXACTLY like he shows my first time around and got issues. Made sure to properly listen and read everything and realized I had screwed up by not downloading the SPR BPT map FIRST. Hope this helps.

Try using the latest custom shader patch this fixed my problem of cars not spawning as well.

downloaded everything, installed it, started practice run and nothing happened. Opened obj inspector and there wasnt even a single car

Your Aegis rar file looks different than the one in the download link. There is no content folder just a folder called shuto_revival_project_beta_ptb

Switch your csp version to 1.80 or 1.79. That's what fixed it for me.

I can't get close to the traffic like that it INSTANTLY crashes me! I don't know how you can almost touch the cars without touching like you float by.

been tryin to cut traffic in asseta for a year now, still cant get it to work, maybe next year. idk y they have to make this so complicated. Asseta just needs to make their own traffic map so anyone can do this at any time without all this trouble

This has gotta be the most ridiculous process I’ve been through since everyone loves gate keeping on certain files we are basically fucked I’ve spent days trying to figure out why I can’t load into a game
@@skys8755 me too bruh, i tried everything to get traffic, 0 luck. I’ve tried to load into a no hesi server then my pc crashes saying “failed to connect: handshake failed” i’m like bruh, i thought all this was going to be simple🤦♂️
Solution to if game crashes:
1) content manager
2) Settings
3) Custom shaders patch
4) reinstall or update version 0.1.79 / select version 0.1.79

the traffic is not for free and it just doesnt let me download the traffic this is so annoying

I managed to get everything working except 1 thing and I can't find anybody else that has the same problem, in the video we install a carpack that gets us variety for the AIs cars's skin right ? It does not work for me... It's always the same 4 cars and there's no variety at all compared to when he drives in the video...

Great instructions, got it all working. question I have is, do the traffic cars not showwin replay? If I record gameplay from my replays I want to see the other cars.

Look if you selected the right map, i was using an older version and got the same warning. But still i have a problem where even with all set up and traffic planner opening cars just don't spawn

You should probably mention that if there are already other traffic mods installed that it may cause issues. My game is now constantly crashing and i cant play. cheers

my traffic planner comes up with errors in the simulator speed section saying scripting physics isnt allowed. How do I fix ?
followed all your instructions but it keeps crashing on launch. I have the maps and they layouts but for some reason as soon as i launch it just crashes. if there is any ideas to fix it id love them thanks for the video

For me anyway, the issue was that I suck at paying attention. Make sure to download the first link in the description, install that in CM by dragging and dropping. THEN install the rest of the mods in the EXACT order shown on screen. I didn't do it EXACTLY like he shows my first time around and got issues. Made sure to properly listen and read everything and realized I had screwed up by not downloading the SPR BPT map FIRST. Hope this helps.
