If you would’ve said the 85 1.8 I would agree, but the 50mm can be a bit hit and miss at times.

I'm not sure. I haven't had another 50mm E mount lens to compare to. I think it is (in my opinion) the first lens to pick up.

​@@ashtheflashchannelfrom my experience it's a really bad AF and the motor is incredibly loud even when compared to some third party lenses I own, but to be honest it might just be a problem with my A7 II

@@Luna-ne3dq I haven't had the issue, but I can't speak for others. I think the autofocus for what I do is good. I have the Sony a7iii. I do not hear sound or notice the focus sound.

I clicked on the video after seeing the title as I believed I knew what lens it would be.... I guessed right. rarely use it, but I adore this lens. The quality for the price is unbelievable. I wouldn't normally recommend a 'plastic fantastic', but I'd say anyone switching to Sony should pick up this lens.... however, for everything else I shoot Sigma.

I don't use it as often as I could. I go for the Sigma 24-70 or the 85mm

bexr lense you shou;ld pick up thats great value is the sony FE f28m. push it closer to your.subject and you still get great subject spearation but 1,.79x FOV. especially for shoot ing your kid cause it gives a sense scale to the world and just how small they are without fisheye
