Key is my drug of choice. My wife can't be around dogs or cats -- allergies. When we watch Key he seems like the dog we never had. My blood pressure goes down and there are times when my face hurts from constantly smiling. In these times, watching Key takes me away for just a few minutes. We're lucky to have this kind of thing to escape into. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

In the USA they are introducing dogs in to non-surgical wards. These dogs comfort the patient, I can tell you it works.
A couple of years ago I was at a wolf sanctuary. They had us sit on a bench, and brought a wolf to say “hi”, I remember one woman breaking in to tears because of the kindness and love the animal gave😢
The Wolf brushed against your leg, as to say “You can pet me now, friend”.
As you can probably guess I’m a strong proponent of the reintroduction of Wolves to Colorado.

I totally agree David!! I do have one dog from a rescue, a cat and another small dog that adopted us. But at night I love to watch Key he does some funny thing. Where I live it to hot for Huskies . Some people do I feel sorry for them in the summer. It's to hot for us for about 6-12 weeks . Jodie I can hear and see the love you and Key have for each other!! Need more of that in the world!! I take allergy meds and have always had pets. I could not live without animals in my life. I have met women who use the excuse of allergies ( mostly not true)because they don’t want their spouse or boyfriend to have pets. Sad but true 😢
Take a dose of K'yeush in the morning and you won't need to call the doctor cuz nothing is better then seeing that handsome boy getting up to mischief. Thank you for sharing and do you him a good ear scritch from Sutekh (😸) and I, please and thank you.

Key's unwrapping of the boxes is like every Christmas, when I had my Karelian bear dogs. Papers, ribbons, torn up boxes... I just miss them and their Christmas mess. That is one reason why I love Key so much! His face and ears... perfection of all Spitz breeds. And since they are very stubborn by basic nature, Key is really a well taught boy, his basic character in tact, it shines through like a light. For your first dog, you have done extremely well! Spitz breeds need firmness and consistency, and it shows. And when Key being part Malamute, you have definitely done well in training him, it shows during your walks. Thank goodness you let Key be exactly who he is, he is a star on his own right. Thank you, Jodie, you done good! And you bring a lot of joy to my life, more than you can imagine! Sending you both my love 💜💜💜💜💜💜 and lots of bear hugs 🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻

That crunchy snack at the end was the cream on the cake. It looked so tasty. Loved watching him eating it. All those wonderful gifts will keep him busy for awhile. He is like a toddler going through the terrible twos. LOL. He shreds those boxes so perfectly.

He sure does like opening boxes!!! I don't think I have ever watched a fur kid open a box so quickly. Sherpa trained Jamie to open his boxes, that way he doesn't expend too much energy.
