    For anyone concerned about Martin's eye - a loud noise startled him in the middle of the night and he accidentally hit himself in the eye. He's ok though!

      Just kidding, sorry, Martin. I hope you'll be alright soon :)

      great app suggestion, but admittedly - just sweating doesn't give your a guarantee you'll gain muscle. If you want to just have fun - that is OK though :)

    So interesting talk guys, just a couple of thoughts. Progressing while enjoying every moment works just fine but also tried one old wise guy's advice who said it's better to give than to receive, and to love one another, and I meditated for some time about it. Actually, I found out it brings about so much joy. Unfortunately, there's such an egocentric and maybe selfish view of happiness nowadays (possessing, mindfulness, etc) that we've been deprived of experience the contentment and sense of fulfillment of being aware of the people around us. Love and giving also need to be practiced (just like Budist monks require meditation for deeper self awareness) but once we create the habit, our perspective of the world changes and our spirit is renewed. It's just a matter of guidance. If the foundation is firm and we contemplate a good architect's advice by setting every brick correctly, the rest of the building will undoubtly reach a good height.
    By the way, love listening to you to practice my English. You rock guys. Bless

    Yoo! Thomas and Martin wassup?
    I wonder if you could make a podcast on career choices based on our innate ability and talents and how to differentiate between skills that make us valuable and skills that are for life value

    • @travisbroneske3711
      @travisbroneske3711 6 років тому

      Aren't skills that "make us valuable" determined by those assessing our value? (ie. jobs, hiring managers, etc.)
      Where as, skills that are "for life value" are determined by you(the one who establishes what life value is)?
      Thus the only differentiation is who is assessing the skill.

    A person can always improve her or his ethics and character, in order to improve his or her service to humanity. A person cannot maintain a hedonistic life, while improving her or his ethics and character.
    Performing acts of kindness to someone will make you happy. Expressing gratitude to someone will make a person happy. Providing an honest needed service, while earning money, will make you happy.
    Viktor Frankl, Nelson Mandela, and Ghandi had to learn to be happy, regardless of the situation.

    0:12 Darron Breeden has the world record at the Wisconsin State Fair World Cheese Curd Eating; instantly regret searching for this, this useless fact will be forever etched in my memory.
