My friend is a chef and taught us how to make sushi! You don't need to fan the rice. You can put it on the refrigerator to cool faster, or just leave it to sit on the counter until it's cooler. Keep wetting your hands with water to keep the rice from sticking (I'd recommend just the sink.) Also make sure your knife is wet when you cut it. You guys did really good! You need one of those metal trays that defrosts the meat in like an hour. Literally the best lifesaver ever during this pandemic. I froze so much meat and didn’t have to wait days to defrost! I got mine off of Amazon. Just put metal defrost tray. 🤗
I'm sure this question has come up before, but when I watch your videos, with the different camera angles, indoors & outdoors segments, I always wonder - who's doing the video-taping? Do you have a camera person?

You rolled the sushi the wrong way- it's meant to be long side with long side of the mat, and roll one long side towards the other- you did short side to long of the mat and roll short to short, getting lots of roll, but not much filling! Ah well, if it was tasty, it's all good :)

I became an elementary school on Feb. 25. I was teaching in school for 2 weeks before the governor announced school closure. All the teachers (myself included) have been through the technological whirlwind and emotional tug-a-war as we struggled to teach online using Canvas. I have started watching your channels during this pandemic and it has been a life savor. Thank you for sharing your expertise and summer time with us. I know that lots of educators are relaxing at the break. May I ask you a question? 1) Do you mind showing us the format, the layout that you do your curriculum map? How do you prefer to do it? I understand the core standard, the curriculum may be different. Earnestly, your videos have been a great inspiration to me and I truly enjoy the creativity of your presentation. 2). In due time, would you please make some instructional videos as to how you make your UA-cam videos? Not all UA-cam videos are created equal - your videos stand out and very appealing (the embellishments). I appreciate your time in listening to my input 😊
