- I spent two days exploring ERICEIRA with Mauka Lodge: Paddle Surf Retreat www.maukalodge... What a fantastic change from the border castles mission I've been on for some time.
Check out my Instagram on / algarveaddicts , I enjoy a little bit of Insta!

Very impressive, surfing while filming 👌🏼great as always…
Thanks 😄👍🏼
Simply an amazing, area for outdoor fun on the surf. Your video skills have developed greatly. Ericeira is worth the visit.
Great vid, Nick. I was hoping you were going to continue the castle tour but understand you enjoy surfing better. Great stuff!
Gorgious place I lived there for 2 years .
I loved !
Looks like you had a blast Nick!
Phenomenal video. Beautiful summary of this area.
Cheers Max 👍🏼
that salad looked amazing. I'm sold.
It was PHENOMENAL!
Great video thank you 🌸
You're welcome 👍🏼
Great video. Thanks for this. I am bringing a group from Canada to surf with Tiago April 2024. This video gave me a great feel for what we can expect.
Awesome Norman! You guys will have a great time.
Ohhhh..that is SO cool man! 😎
An amazing few days!
👍👍👍👍👍
What a fantastic video! I live in San Diego and it reminds me so much of home. ❤
Are you over on holiday here, Amy?
@@AlgarveAddicts my sister in law and her husband retired in Lagos so I visit them. They are from the UK (she cycles with Fiona and usually doesn’t die). 😁
Hahaha, she's way fitter than I am then.
Great video
Thanks Cem! Great acting in it 😄
Great video. Thanks. Question though, I live on the east coast of the USA and am not a surfer there’s always issues with sharks. Any shark issues in Portugal? Just wondering. Thanks
The only sharks there are called politicians
Haha. Ouch. Interesting that Portugal doesn’t have the shark problem but you guys have Orcas that are angry at sailboats.
If the water tastes salty. There are sharks.
Mostly they are totally uninterested in us except to get away from us. Surfed the east coast for years and once in a while you do see one.
no shark issues. the last shark issue I've heard, where a sailor was bitten by a shark , was because they fished it into their small boat and the shark bit the guy in the leg while inside the boat. Regarding surf never heard anything although from time to time some blue shark shows up dead on the beach. they used to make soup out of these sharks when i was kid "sopa de tintoreira"
Looked like an awesome time. Our daughter 12yrs old loves long board surfing 🏄♀️ 🌊 here in Florida. But doesn’t like paddle boards? Go figure 🤔 🙄
Great video. This is also on my bucket list! What beach was that in the last clip? By Peniche?
Praia Azul near Santa Cruz .. I was also wondering , as I know Ericeira well
Are there a lot of good places to ride bicycles there? Cycling and surfing is a dream trip
Yes Reggie, the bike riding is amazing here, especially on gravel.
youre not surfing kook.
Let's meet up, shall we?
