Hey emongg, can you explain why making a new account I managed to rank higher than my main?
That's how the MMR calibration just is. If you can maintain that rank after like 100-200 games, then that'll be a better indication of your real rank or at least rank potential.
Long story short, elo hell. Which is exactly why all these "unranked to gm" videos are complete BS.
I made a smurf, performed worse than on my main and got 2 ranks higher. It's completely unfair for accounts to be held in elo captivity.

It was designed to finish off low targets that run away after you jump them, but the reality is you sit on high ground sniping until your team gets a pick or until you can drop on someone.

@@CT--tm2zm No, it isn't. You do not HAVE to counter pick until you're approaching diamond level. Just learn to be better at your tank, and you can manage your counters well.

Don’t swap off hog when they go reaper Ana? Don’t swap off dva when they go Moira sym Zar? You counter swap when it’s required “managing your counters” died with the dps passive that just keeps you constantly low
This is like half the tanks I ran into. Do not pay attention to what their team is doing whatsoever, push the whole enemy team after not caring about what anyone else is doing, pushing the team when they're under 50% health, leaving LOS then flaming the support for not being inside their AHs the entire game. It's like clockwork especially in QP.

He improved allot. Also tank is nowdays just very hard to learn, especially if you are unsure of what mistake you made because you get deleted so quickly.
Did you not use your abilities correctly or did your supports just stop healing you to dps a full hp enemy tank?
Are you taking the correct approach with the tank you choose etc, etc etc.

Nope I just want my tank to keep pressing W when I’m alive as sp because sp is so op without looking at lifeweaver that I have lost every single game when my team sp dc just because when our sp die we lost our op role therefore lost the whole team fight when I have won countless of game with other role missing one also when I’m the solo sp but yes I’m smurfing so tell yourself that you suck and you need to improve then you would get better, I’m a t500 all role player so if I can follow up so can you as this shows it’s the limitation of you not the role

I love seeing Overwatch tanks get used to anti heal. In Paladins it starts at 25% and goes up to 95% and is applied by all roles, so cleansing caut (anti-heal) is the main difference between a bad player and good player

Imma be entirely real. Rank from Bronze to plat is such a fuckin mess. My main account is super old. And i have been stuck in the bronze-gold range since i started. At first yeah i probably jsut sucked. But Currently? Bro i just don't have the time to do all those games and so much depends on the RNG of teammates. Like i have an alt thats masters DPS and high plat tank/support where i out perform most other people (Not in master i'm honestly surprised i got masters in DPS maybe diamond makes sense.) But yeah. Its just a real mess. I would not be able to tell you the difference between a bronze and plat player unless voice chat was on. Higher the rank the more they are actively complaining in VC rather then text chat. LOL

I am just realizing that climbs are tough. Cause believe me when I say this, I started in season 7. Started playing ranked end of season 8 (I finished Silver 3). Didn't play a single minute of OW in S9 and now in S10 I started again. After placements, I was in Silver 4 for dps and Silver 3 for support. Right now, I am Gold 5 for dps and Gold 2 for support. And I one tricked Reaper in dps (mostly, with Soj here and there) 😂 I used to think that Silver 5 or 1, it's still Silver so I wanted another tier. Makes sense now since it is not as easy to win games in Gold 2. I keep moving between Gold 3 and 2 often. And I stopped playing dps cause Illari is more fun than half of the dps roster anyway.
Taking on a Reaper as Winston is a choice…usually not a good one

3:10 yes emongg, I saw a lot of tanks just yolo in the middle of the open like the old days and even my heals as ana and bap can't even heal them properly,
many times I told the tanks about the DPS passive but they still go in the open, doesn't want to play cover and got rolled, and then blame me and my other supp for not healing when we both pumping them hard 😭🙏
First actions: afk, playing sniper DVA, not eating disruptor shot, shooting bubble, not eating damage orb, matrix beam.... It's enough to drive a diamond insane let alone a top500.
Emongg is like a dad to us low rank players. He tells us not to run into Zarya and puts our good plays on the fridge
